1.Jathopi Mathura puryaam  , sampushto  nanda  gokule,

Yastham  kapata  gopalam  vandhe  adbutha  kisorakam.

Though born in Mathura  , he was  nurtured  in Gokula  of Nanda,

He is   the deceiving  Gopala and I salute   that  wonderful  boy.

2.Kesa  paase  drutham pincham , nasagre  nava  moukthikam,

Vandeham  Bala  Gopalam  , Megha   shyamala  komalam.

He wears a feather  on his gair and pearl   nasal drops on his nose ,

I salute   that  boy Gopala   who is pretty   with the black   colour of the cloud.

3.Gruha, gruhe   vruja sthreenaam   yo kareth   charu  choranam,

THamasraye  nava neetha  gopalam    sarva palakam

I depend on him who   carries out  petty theft  in every home  ,

Of the ladies of Vruja , who  is gopala  who steals butter   and protector  of every one.

4.mrudhu paasa  bheethaayai   mathre   yena  mukhodharam,

Darsitham tham  viswa roopa  gopalam   sandhdhe   vibhum.

I  am seeing  that lord  Gopala  with a huge form , who  was seeking peace ,

By telling with his lips, “Mother  I am sacred  of the light thread.”

5.Pasa   dwayena sambandham  maathaa  krodandha  chithayaa ,

Tham ulookhala  gopalam   vandhe  arjuna   vibhedhakam.

Blinded with rage    mother   tied   him with a rope 

That mischievous  cow hers and I salute him who broke   arjuna trees.

6.Dathraa  hrutheshu  gopeshu  yo asyajat  thaan  swa maayayaa,

Namamyadbutha gopalam  aham  tham ajam avyayam.

When Lord Brahma   hid  the Gopa boys that  lord by his own illusion  made them appear ,

And I salute that   wonderful cowherd who is not born    and is stable

7.Chakre  sarva  jananandam   gana  peeyusha   dharayaa ,

Yastham bhajamyaham  Venu gopalam   nanda  nandanam

In  the circle  he made  all people happy by  rain of nectar of music,

And I sing about him   the Venu Gopala  who is son of Nanda

8.Varshena dukhitham goshtam  leelayaa  palaya swayam,

Tham  Govardhana   gopala   indra darpa   haram  bhaje

When the crowd of his friends became  sad due to rain, he protected  them himself  ,

And I sing about   that Govardhana gopala who destroyed  pride of Indra

9.Rasa leelaa   samudruktha,  koti manmadha  mohanam,

Vandhe  madana  gopalam , Gopika nayanothsavam

In the ocean of  Rasa leelaa  , he was as pretty as one crore of love gods,

I Salute the gopala  who is loved and feast to the eyes  of  Gopis

10.YUdhisthra kruthe Raja   sooye agra sthanasana   sthitham,

Vandheham  Rajagopalam Sisupalanthakam   Harim

In the Rajasooya   of Yudhioishtra , he was made to occupy the first seat,

And I salute that   Rajagopala  who was the slayer  of Sisupala and Lord Hari

11.THothra vethra dharam  devam yogeesam  Partha  SAradhim,

Vandhe  radastha  gopalam  , geethamrutha  maharnavam.

That God   took a  bamboo whip  in his hand  and became the chariot driver of Arjuna,

I salute  the Gopala   who is on the chariot and who gave  nectar of Gita  in the great battle field

12.Rithepi   yachanam   yastham  dathaa sarvartha sampadaam,

Vandhe  Kuchela   gopalam madhavam  karunarnavam.

To the respected  one who begged  , he was giver of all prosperity,

I salute  that Kuchela  Gopala, who was  Madhava   the ocean of mercy

13.Labdhum  muthaan  dwija suthaan  vaikuntam  yo jagama  tham,

Vandhe    santhana  gopalam  santhana asurapabhapam

He got   the sons of Brahmin from Vaikunta   and woke them up,

I salute  that santhana  gopala , who took awy sin of asuras as a child
