(I believe   that  whichever language  we pray  our God will understand. Here  isa simple  prayer  addressed  to the  different Goddesses for  happy long  Saumangalya)

OH Goddess  Lalitha   who  did great  penance  ,

For a  great , happy  , auspicious   life with Shiva ,

Please  grant  me  a  married  life  of auspicious prosperity  ,

With  my husband and bless  both of us   for  long togetherness  forever.

Oh Goddess  Chamundi   who took  a ferocious   form,

To kill   the   great  asuras   Chanda   and munda  ,

Please  grant  me  a  married  life  of auspicious prosperity  ,

With  my husband and bless  both of us   for long togetherness  forever.

Oh Goddess  Rajarajeswari , the queen goddess who presides,

Over the Sri Chakra  and  who blesses all the world  with all that is good,

Please  grant  me  a  married  life  of auspicious prosperity  ,

Oh  Goddess   Meenakshi  , who was born as princess  of Madurai,

Who was  greatly valorous  and   at the end became  the wedded wife  of Sundareswara,

Oh Goddess  Annapurneswari   who was   born  in this world ,

So that   she would be the  only one   to give  alms  to her husband ,

In the   art  of dance  and accepted defeat  so that  she became  his forever,

And was   chosen  for getting  married  by Lord Vishnu himself,

Oh  Goddess  Sarada    who   is  the goddess  Saraswathi   herself
