1,Nama Deva vrundha, lasad eka dantham,
Sirasrimath indhum , sritha sri mukundam,
Brahacharu sunda,
Sthutha sri sanandam,
Jataaheendra
kandham , Bajeabeshta sandham.
I salute the
one surrounded by devas , who shines
with one tusk,
Who has moon on his head, who is served by Lord
Vishnu and Lakshmi,
Who has big pretty trunk, Who is praised by saint
Sananda,
Who is a baby
who has decorated his head with a snake ,
And I sing about
him who fulfils my desires.
2,Khila deva
gothram , kanadhema gathram,
SAdananda mathram
, maha bhaktha mithram,
SAraschandra vakthram , trayee pootha pathram,
SAmastharthi
dathram, Bhaja SAkthi puthram.
He belongs to
clan of playing devas , has a body like shining gold,
Is purely true joy , is friend of great devotees,
Has a face like
autumn moon , is the one who has three Vedas,
And is the cure
for all sorrows and I sing about
the son of Goddess Sakthi
3.Galadhana
maalam, chaladh nhogi maalam,
Galambodha kalam , sadhaa dhana
sheelam,
Suraarathi kaalam, mahesathma balam,
Lasath pundra phalam , bhaje loka moolam.

He wears the flowing garland of charity, wears
the moving garland of serpents,
Has a neck with
black colour of water rich cloud, always
has habit of giving
Was death to enemies of devas, is the soul like child of Lord Shiva,
And has
shining mark of tripundram on his
forehead and I sing about
the root of the world.
4.Urasthara
haaram , saraschandra heeram,
Sura sree vicharam
hruthaarthaari baaram,
Kate dhana pooram, jataa
bhogi pooram,
Kala bindhu
tharam, Bhaje shaiva veeram
He wears garland
of stars over his chest , wears autumn
moon like diamonds on his head,
Has good of devas
in his thought , bears the sorrow of those who are troubled by
enemies,
Has cheeks with
flowing must , has a tuft filled
with snakes .
And makes us cross the stoppage of time and I
sing about that warrior of Shiva
5.Kara aarooda
moksham , vipadh bhanga daksham,
Chaladh saarasaaksham, Parasakthi paksham,
Sritha marthya vruksham
surari druthaksham,
Paraananda
paksham , Bhaje Sri Shivaksham
He holds in his hand the salvation, is an expert in
destroying dangers of his devotees,
Has eyes like moving lotus flowers, is on the side of
Divine power (Goddess Parvathy)
Is like a divine
tree to his devotees , is the wood
cutter to the tree of enemies of devas,
And is on the side
of divine joy and I
sing about him who is in the
auspicious eyes of Lord Shiva
6. Sadhaasam ,
suresam , Sadhaa pathu meesam,
Nidhanothbhavam , saankara prema kosam,
Drutha sri
nisessam , lasad dantha kosam,
Chalath shoola pasam
, Bhaje Krutha pasam.
He is always calm, is lord of all devas, is the God who always protects,
Is the
originator of primeval cause , is the aspect of affection of Sankara,
Wears the
auspicious moon , has shining bud like teeth,
And has moving trident and rope and
I sing about him who cuts of affection
7.THathaneka
santham, sadhaa dhaanaavaantham,
Budha sree karam
tham , gajaasyam vibhantham,
Karathmeeya dantham
, trilokaika vruntham,
Sumandham
paramtham bhajeham BHavam tham
He is one and many
, always grants boons,
Grants riches to the intelligent , Has elephant like look , brings to an end differences,
Has his own tusk in his hand , is
the giver of intelligence to the
three worlds,
And is divinely
slow and I sing about him
8.Shiva prema pindam
param swarna varnam,
Lasad dantha gandam
, sadananda poornam,
Vivarna prabhaasyam
, drutha swarna baandam,
Chala charu
sundam BHaje danthi
sundam
He is the result of Shiva’s love, has a divine golden colour,
Has a shining broken tusk, is always filled with joy,
Has a multi
coloured shine , holds a golden pot,
And has a pretty
moving tusk, and I sing about him with
an elephant face
