SHRI JAGAN MANGAL KAVACHAM KALI KAVACH

This Kavacha of Kali  gives enjoyment as well  as salvation, destroys sins and assures  victory. By reading it daily  man becomes all powerful and can attract  any one from all   the three worlds.

भैरव्युवाच
काली पूजा श्रुता नाथ भावाश्च विविधाः प्रभो ।
इदानीं श्रोतु मिच्छामि कवचं पूर्व सूचितम् ॥
त्वमेव शरणं नाथ त्राहि माम् दुःख संकटात् ।
सर्व दुःख प्रशमनं सर्व पाप प्रणाशनम् ॥
सर्व सिद्धि प्रदं पुण्यं कवचं परमाद्भुतम् ।
अतो वै श्रोतुमिच्छामि वद मे करुणानिधे ॥

BHairava  Uvacha

Kalipoojaa  , sruthaa  Nadhaa  bhavascha  vividha prabho

Idhanim srothum ichami   kavacham poorva soochitham,

Thwameva  saranam Nadha , thraaji  mama dukha   sankatath,

Sarva dukha  prasamanam  , sarva  papa  pranasanam,

SArva sidhi pradham punyam kavacham paramathbutham,

Atho vai srothum ichami   vadha  mey Karunanidhe

BHairava  said

Oh lord I heard    the   various   aspects  of the worship of Kali,

And I now   want to hear, The armour   which you had indicated earlier,

You  are  my  only protection, oh lord, please  dave me from my sorrow.

That which  destroys all sorrow, That   which destroys all sin,

That which gives all powers, the  blessed armour which is greatly wonderful,

And I want to hear it. And so please  tell, oh treasure  of mercy.


भैरवोवाच

Bhairava  Uvacha

Bhairava said

रहस्यं श्रृणु वक्ष्यामि भैरवि प्राण वल्लभे ।
श्री जगन्मङ्गलं नाम कवचं मंत्र विग्रहम् ॥
पाठयित्वा धारयित्वा त्रौलोक्यं मोहयेत्क्षणात् ।
नारायणोऽपि यद्धत्वा नारी भूत्वा महेश्वरम् ॥

Rahasyam srunu vakshyami, Bhairavi prana  Vallabhe,

Sri Jagan mangalam nama  kavacham manthra  vigraham,

Paatayithwaa  ,dhaarayithwaa   trilokyam  mokshayeth   kshanaath,

Narayanopi  yadh druthwaa , naari bhoothwaa  Maheswaram

Oh  my dear   soul like wife BHairavi, Please hear   this secret,

Which is an amour called “prosperity of the world” and which is  a chant idol,

Either if it is read or worn, within a second the   three worlds would attain salvation,

Even Lord Narayana  because  he wore it, became a  lady and attracted Lord Shiva


योगिनं क्षोभमनयत् यद्धृत्वा च रघूद्वहः ।
वरदीप्तां जघानैव रावणादि निशाचरान् ॥
यस्य प्रसादादीशोऽपि त्रैलोक्य विजयी प्रभुः ।
धनाधिपः कुबेरोऽपि सुरेशोऽभूच्छचीपतिः ।
एवं च सकला देवाः सर्वसिद्धिश्वराः प्रिये ॥

Yoginam  kshobhamaanayadha  yadrithwaa  cha ragoodhvaha,

Vara depthaam   jaganaiva  ravanaadhi   nisacharaam,

Yasys   prasadaa  aadhesopi  trilokya  vijayi prabhu,

Dhanadhipa   Khuberopi sureso  abooschacheepathi .

Yetham cha   sakala   devaa sarva   siddheswaraa priye.

Becoming a Yogi  with a  tumultuous mind  , sri Rama  wore it,

And killed   the Raksasa   called Ravana who had   several boons,

And was being    called   the lord   of the   three   worlds,

And even Khubera the lord of riches , Indra  and all  other devas  ,

Using this were    able to get   all occult powers.

विनियोग  Viniyoga  Making a start

ॐ श्री जगन्मङ्गलस्याय कवचस्य ऋषिः शिवः ।
छ्न्दोऽनुष्टुप् देवता च कालिका दक्षिणेरिता ॥
जगतां मोहने दुष्ट विजये भुक्तिमुक्तिषु ।
यो विदाकर्षणे चैव विनियोगः प्रकीर्तितः ॥

Om  Sri jagan  mangalasyaaya  kavachasya  , Rishi Shiva  ,

Chandho anushtup devathaa  cha Kalikaa  dakshinerithaa,

Jagathaam   mohane  , dushta  vijaye. Bukthi mukthishu,

Yo vid aakarshane  chaiva b viniyoga  prakeerthitha

For the armour called”Prosperity of the world”  the sage is Lord Shiva,

The metre is Anushtup, the god addressed is Kali   who is on the left,

For attracting the world, for winning over evil people,  for good living and salvation,

And for attracting knowledge  a beginning is  made   to sing it.

अथ कवचम् 

Adha  Kavacham

Now the armour

शिरो मे कालिकां पातु क्रींकारैकाक्षरीपर ।
क्रीं क्रीं क्रीं मे ललाटं च कालिका खड्‌गधारिणी ॥
हूं हूं पातु नेत्रयुग्मं ह्नीं ह्नीं पातु श्रुति द्वयम् ।
दक्षिणे कालिके पातु घ्राणयुग्मं महेश्वरि ॥
क्रीं क्रीं क्रीं रसनां पातु हूं हूं पातु कपोलकम् ।
वदनं सकलं पातु ह्णीं ह्नीं स्वाहा स्वरूपिणी ॥

Siro may Kalika pathu   kreemkarou kashareepara,

Kreem kreem kreem may lalatam cha Kalika  Gadga  Dharini,

Hoom Hoom   pathu nethra  yugmam  hanim hanim pathu  sruthi dwayam,

Dakshine kalike pathu grana yugmam  Maheswari,

Kreem kreem kreem   rasanaam pathu hoom hoom kapolakam,

Vadanam sakalam pathu  hruneem hruneem   swaha  swaroopini

Let the Kalika who produces   the sound kreem protect my head,

Let the Kalika armed with a sword andchanting kreem protect  my forehead,

Let  sound of Hoom protect my twin eyes and sound Hanim  protect  both my ears,

Let the  Kali of the left who is the  great goddess  protect both my nostrils
Let kreem , kreem ,kreem protect my toungue , let hoom , hoom  protect my head,

Let my entire face be  protected  by  hruneem hruneem who has the form of swaha.

द्वाविंशत्यक्षरी स्कन्धौ महाविद्यासुखप्रदा ।
खड्‌गमुण्डधरा काली सर्वाङ्गभितोऽवतु ॥
क्रीं हूं ह्नीं त्र्यक्षरी पातु चामुण्डा ह्रदयं मम ।
ऐं हूं ऊं ऐं स्तन द्वन्द्वं ह्नीं फट् स्वाहा ककुत्स्थलम् ॥
अष्टाक्षरी महाविद्या भुजौ पातु सकर्तुका ।
क्रीं क्रीं हूं हूं ह्नीं ह्नीं पातु करौ षडक्षरी मम ॥

Dhavavimasthyakshari  skandhou, mahaa vidhaayaa  sukhapradhaa,

Gadga munda dharaa kali sarvangobhdhavathu,

Kreem hreem haneem  thrayakshareem  pathu chamundaa hrudayam mama,

Iym hoom   oom iym  sthana dwandwam  haneem phat haneem phat swahaa kakusthalam,

Ashtaksharee  maha vidhyaa bhujou pathu sakarthukaa,

Kreem kreem  hroom hroom haneem haneem patu karou shadakshari mama

Let the 22  lettered maha Vidhyaa   keep the trunk   in a good condition .

Let the Kali armed with sword and body   without protect all  the parts of the body,

Let Chamunda with three letters Kreem, hreem  and haneem protect my heart,

Let  iym , oom  , oom iym   protect my breasysc  and  Hanee phat swaha   protect my back side,

Let Maha Vidhya of eight letters protect my hands ,

Let kreem kreem  hoom hoom haneem haneem , the lettered  one protect my arms   

क्रीं नाभिं मध्यदेशं च दक्षिणे कालिकेऽवतु ।
क्रीं स्वाहा पातु पृष्ठं च कालिका सा दशाक्षरी ॥
क्रीं मे गुह्नं सदा पातु कालिकायै नमस्ततः ।
सप्ताक्षरी महाविद्या सर्वतंत्रेषु गोपिता ॥
ह्नीं ह्नीं दक्षिणे कालिके हूं हूं पातु कटिद्वयम् ।
काली दशाक्षरी विद्या स्वाहान्ता चोरुयुग्मकम् ॥
ॐ ह्नीं क्रींमे स्वाहा पातु जानुनी कालिका सदा ।
काली ह्रन्नामविधेयं चतुवर्ग फलप्रदा ॥

Kreem Naabhim Madhya   desam cha   Dakshine kalike    Aavathu,

Kreem swaahaa pathu prushtam kaalikaa saa   dasaksharim

Kreem may guhanam   sadhaa  pathu kalikaayai namasthatha

SApthakshari maha vidhyaa   sarva  thanthreshu gopithaa,

Hanim, hanim   dakshine kaalike hum hum pathu katii dwayam,

Kali dasakshari vidhyaa   swaahaa thaa choru yugmakam,

Om Hanim   kreem may   swahaa  pathu   jaanuni kalikaa sadaa,

Kali hrun nama  vidheyam   chathurvarga  phala pradha.

Let Dakshina  Kali with kreem  protect my middle part,

Let the ten lettered   Goddess  with kreem swaha  protect  my back,

Let Kalika  with kreem always   protect my private  parts

Let the seven lettered  Maha Vidhyaa who is hidden from all thanthras,

The DAkshina kali   with hanim, hanim    and hum hum, protect  both my waists,

Let Kali wjo is the ten lettered vidhya with swaha  protect my two   thighs,

Let always   Goddess Kali  with Hanim  Kreem and SWaha  protect  my knees,

Kali   with name hrum  is amenable to give four types of benefits

क्रीं ह्नीं ह्नीं पातु सा गुल्फं दक्षिणे कालिकेऽवतु ।
क्रीं हूं ह्नीं स्वाहा पदं पातु चतुर्दशाक्षरी मम ॥
खड्‌गमुण्डधरा काली वरदाभयधारिणी ।
विद्याभिः सकलाभिः सा सर्वाङ्गमभितोऽवतु ॥

Kreem haneem  haneem pathu   saa  gulpham  dakshine   kalike aavathu

Kreem hoom   haneem  padham pathu chathur dasakshari mama,

Gadga munda dharaa  Kali   vardhaa   abhaya   dharini  ,

Vidhyaabhi   sakalaapi  saa  sarvaangam abhitho aavathu

Let kreem,  haneem Haneem of Dakshina Kalika protect my ankles

Let  Kreem , hum   SWaha of the four lettered goddess  protect my feet,

The  Kali who holds  the skull and sword protects  and wears  protection,

She grants  knowledge and everything  and makes  us all knowing

काली कपालिनी कुल्ला कुरुकुल्ला विरोधिनी ।
विपचित्ता तथोग्रोग्रप्रभा दीप्ता घनत्विषः ॥
नीला घना वलाका च मात्रा मुद्रा मिता च माम् ।
एताः सर्वाः खड्‌गधरा मुण्डमाला विभूषणाः ॥
रक्षन्तु मां दिग्निदिक्षु ब्राह्मी नारायणी तथा ।
माहेश्वरी च चामुण्डा कौमारी चापराजिता ॥
वाराही नारसिंही च सर्वाश्रयऽति भूषणाः ।
रक्षन्तु स्वायुधेर्दिक्षुः दशकं मां यथा तथा ॥

Kali kapaalini   kulla  kurukulla   virodhini ,

Viprachitha   thadograa ugraprabha  deepthaa   ghanathvisha,

Neelaa  ghanaa valaakaa  cha mathraa mudhraa  mithaa cha maamaa,

Yethaa sarvaa gadgadhara, munda maalaa vibhushana,

Rakshanthu maam  dignadhikshu Brahmi Narayani THadha,

Maaheswari  cha chaamundaa kaumari cha   aparajitha

Varahi  Narasimhi cha sarvasrayathi  bhooshanaa,

Rakshanthu swa ayudhardhishu dasakam maam   yadhaa  thadhaa

Kali  , she who wears  skulls  , Small one  , Kurukulla devi  , she who opposes

Viprachitha  , Viprachitha   thadograa ugraprabha  she who shines   ghanathvisha,

Neelaa  ghanaa valaakaa  cha mathraa mudhraa  mithaa cha maamaa,

Yethaa sarvaa gadgadhara, She who wears garland  of dead bodies  without head

May protect me    from all directions

Let Shkathi aspects  of Lord Brahma  , Lord Naranyana , Lord Shiva  , She who killed  Chanda , aspect of lord Varaja  Lord Narasimha  who are  all decorated may protect me   in all type of ways   from all the ten directions

 
प्रतिफलम्  Prathiphalam(What you get back)

इति ते कथित दिव्य कवचं परमाद्भुतम् ।
श्री जगन्मङ्गलं नाम महामंत्रौघ विग्रहम् ॥
त्रैलोक्याकर्षणं ब्रह्मकवचं मन्मुखोदितम् ।
गुरु पूजां विधायाथ विधिवत्प्रपठेत्ततः ॥
कवचं त्रिःसकृद्वापि यावज्ज्ञानं च वा पुनः ।
एतच्छतार्धमावृत्य त्रैलोक्य विजयी भवेत् ॥

Ithi the   divya kavacham   paramaadbutham,

Sri Jagan  mangalam  m naama  Mah manthroghu vigraham,m

Trilokyakarshanam Brahma kavacham  man mukhoditham

Guru  poojaam vidhaayaadha vidhivath   op prapatoth thatha

Kavacham tri  sakrudhaavaapi yaavajjanam   cha vaa puna,

Yethathchathartha  mavruthya trilokya  vijayi bhaveth

Those who chant   is greatly wonderful armour,

Which is a great chant called  Jagan mangalam,

Which has  been narrated ny me can attract all  the three worlds,

This has to be read  as per rules  after the  worship of the Guru .

THis has to be chanted again and again  as long as you live,

And if this is done you can win over  all the three  worlds

त्रैलोक्यं क्षोभयत्येव कवचस्य प्रसादतः ।
महाकविर्भवेन्मासात् सर्वसिद्धीश्वरो भवेत् ॥
पुष्पाञ्जलीन् कालिका यै मुलेनैव पठेत्सकृत् ।
शतवर्ष सहस्त्राणाम पूजायाः फलमाप्नुयात् ॥

TRilokyam  kshobhayathyeva kavachasya  prasaadatha

Maha kavirbhaven maasaan  sarva sidheswari bhaveth

Pushpanjaleen kaalikaa  yai mulenaiva  padeth  sakrut

SAtha  varsham  sahasthraanaam  poojaaya  phalamapnuyaath

Using this Kavacha  al the three  worlds   could be agitated,

By chanting it for one month   you can get control over all occult powers

By offering flowers    with the chanting of root manthra   of the goddess,

You can get the effect of worshipping het for one hundred lakh years

भूर्जे विलिखितं चैतत् स्वर्णस्थं धारयेद्यदि ।
शिखायां दक्षिणे बाहौ कण्ठे वा धारणाद् बुधः ॥
त्रैलोक्यं मोहयेत्क्रोधात् त्रैलोक्यं चूर्णयेत्क्षणात् ।
पुत्रवान् धनवान् श्रीमान् नानाविद्या निधिर्भवेत् ॥
ब्रह्मास्त्रादीनि शस्त्राणि तद् गात्र स्पर्शवात्ततः ।
नाशमायान्ति सर्वत्र कवचस्यास्य कीर्तनात् ॥

Burje vilikhitham   chaithath   swarnastham  dharayrth  yadhi,

Shikhaayaam   dakshine baahaai   kante   cha dhaaranaath   budha,

Trilokhyam   mohayeth  krodath  trilokyam  choornayeth  kshanaath,

Puthravaan   dhanavaan   srimaan   nana vidhayaa nidhir bhaveth,

Brahmasthraadheeni sasthraani thadha  sprasa vath thatha,

Naasmayaanthi sarvathra  kavacasyaya keerthanaath

If this is written on palm leaf   or gold plate and  worn ,

On south side of head  or on the neck by the wise one,

He would attract all  the three worlds anfd if he gets  angry,

All the three   world would b\break in to pieces
 He would get children become wealthy  and get all  type of treasures

If Brahmastra  or any other   great asthra    is used   against him

Due to the  power  of this  Kavacha every thing   would be ineffective

मृतवत्सा च या नारी वन्ध्या वा मृतपुत्रिणी ।
कण्ठे वा वामबाहौ वा कवचस्यास्य धारणात् ॥
वह्वपत्या जीववत्सा भवत्येव न संशयः ।
न देयं परशिष्येभ्यो ह्यभक्तेभ्यो विशेषतः ॥
शिष्येभ्यो भक्तियुक्तेभ्यो ह्यन्यथा मृत्युमाप्नुयात् ।
स्पर्शामुद्‌धूय कमला वाग्देवी मन्दिरे मुखे ।
पौत्रान्तं स्थैर्यमास्थाय निवसत्येव निश्चितम् ॥

Mrutha vathsaa    cha yaa naari   vaa  Mrutha puthrini,

Kante  vaa  vama bahou  vaa  kavachayaasya   dharanaath,

Vahava  pathyaa   jeeva athsaa  bhavathyeva  na samsaya,

Na dheya  para sishyebhyo haya  bhathebhyo   viseshathaa,

Sishebhyo   bhakthi yukthebhyo  hayanyadhaa  mruthyumapnuyaath,

Sprasaamudha dhuya kamala  vaagdevi mandhire mukhe,

Pouthraantham  sthaiyamaasthaaya nivasathyeva nishcitham

Ladies whose   sons  or daughters or dying  or those who are barren,

If they tie  this armour   on their  neck or left habbd,

Their children would  not die and they will give birth to children,

THis should only be taught  to devoted disciples   for otherwise they may die.

Goddess  Lakshmi  and Sarawathi would live  in the home  of person who learns it,

And that person till his end  would lead a  life of pleasure   and joy

इदं कवचं न ज्ञात्वा यो जपेद्दक्षकालिकाम् ।
शतलक्षं प्रजप्त्वापि तस्य विद्या न सिद्धयति ।
शस्त्रघातमाप्नोति सोऽचिरान्मृत्युमाप्नुयात् ॥

Idham kavacham jnaathwaa   yo  japedh ksha  kaalikaam,

Satha  laksham   prajapthvaapi  thasys   vidhyaa  na sidhyathi

SAsthra  gatham aapnothi se chiraan mruthyumaapnuyaath

The chant of Kali can be done   without knowing this kavach,

But even if he chats it one hundred  lakh times,He would not get the knowledge ,

And he   would attain death by some   weapon.

।।श्री दक्षिणाकाली प्रसन्नोस्तु।।

Sri Dakshina Kali  prasanoosthu
