The  attraction of ten incarnation

1.மீனாய்ப் பிறப்பெடுத்தான்
தானாய்க் கடல் அளந்தான்
சிக்கெனப் பிடிக்கவில்லை --கிளியே
சீரழிந்து போய்விட்டேன்

Meenai pirappeduthaan,

Thaanaai  kadal   alanthaan,

Chikkena  pidikkavillai –kiliye,

Cheereazhinthu  poi vitten

He took birth  as fish,

He himself wandered all over the sea,

He  did catch effeiently , oh parrot,

And i was completely  spoiled

2. கூர்மம் இவன்தானென்று
கூர்மதியர் சொன்னபோதும்
துர்மதி கொண்டுவிட்டேன் --கிளியே
துணை எனக் கதறவில்லை

Koormam ivan thaanendru,

Koor mathiyar chonna pothum,

Thurmathi  kondu vitten –Kiliye,

Thunai   yena kadharavillai

Even when  very intelligrent  people told,

That he   is the turle

I  got in to bad intention- Oh parrot,

I did not shout   for help

3.வராகன் --வாராது வந்தான்
பூவராகன் ஆகி நின்றான்
தேவனை அறியவில்லை --கிளியே
சேவகம் செய்யவில்லை

Vaarakan vaarathu  vanthaan,

Bhoo varakan aaki  nindraan,

Devanai  ariyavillai-kiliye  ,

Chevakam cheyyavillai

Without coming, Varaha came,

And he  stood there as Bhoo varaha,

I did not recognize the God-Oh parrot,

I did not serve him

4.நரனும்-- சிம்மனும் வந்தான்
நான் தருவேன் வரம் என்றான்
உண்மையை உணரவில்லை--கிளியே
உலுத்தனாய் ஆகிவிட்டேன்

Naranum  Simmanum  Vanthaan,

Naan tharuven varam   yendraan,

Unmayai  unaravillai-Kiliye,

Uluthanaai   aakivitten

He came as man and lion.,

And he told  , I will give boon,

I did not realize the truth, Oh Parrot,

I became  an ignorant person

5. வாமனன் ---உலகளந்தான்
தாமாய் வந்து பாரென்றான்
இது யாரோ என ஒதுக்கிக் ---கிளியே
சிதைத்திருந்தேன் சிந்தையினை

Vamanan  -ulagu alanthaan,

Thaamai vanthu paarendraan,

Ithu yaaro yena   othukki kiliye,

Chithaithu irunthen chinthayinai

Vamana  measured the world,

And he asked mt  to come and see him of my own accord,

I ignored him saying , he is someby , Oh Parrot,

I stayed breaking  my own mind

6. பரசும் ஏந்திய ராமனானான்
முரசு கொட்டி அறிவித்தான்
பார்ப்பதற்கே அஞ்சிவிட்டேன் --கிளியே
பாதகமும் செய்து விட்டேன்

Parasum     yenthiya  Raman AAnaan,

Murasu  kotti arivithaan,

Parpptakke  anji  vitten-kiliye

Pathakamum    cheithu vitten

He Became   Rama carrying an axe,

He player   the drums and announced,

Oh Parrot   even to look I was scared,

I did  a   crime also

7. சிந்தைக்கினியான் ராமன்
சீதையுடன் வந்திருந்தான்
எந்தை தந்தை யாரென்று --கிளியே
இறுமாப்பு எய்தி விட்டேன்

Chinthaikkiniyaan Raman,

Seethayudan vanthirunthaan,

Yenthai  thanthai   yaarendru, kiliye,

Irumappu   yeithi vitten

Rama was sweet for thought,

He came along with sita,

Oh Parrot , I became proud,

Feeling who is my father

8. பலராமன் உருப்பெற்றான்
பலவகையில் காட்சி செய்தும்
பாவியேன் உணரவில்லை --கிளியே
பரிதவித்து விட்டு விட்டேன்

Bala Raman  Uru peththan,

Pala vakayil  kaakshi cheithum,

Paviyen unaravillai –kiliye,

Parithavithu   vittu vitten

He got the form of Bala  Rama,

Those he appeared  in several forms,

This sinner dis not feel, Oh parrot

I left after   great suffering

9. கண்ணன் அவன், என் உள்ளம்
கவர்ந்தவன் வந்துவிட்டான்
கள்வனவன் கால் பிடித்தேன்--கிளியே
கவலை இனி எனக்கெதற்கு

Kannan avan  , yen ullam,

Kavarnthavan   vanthu vittan,

Kalvanavan  kaal pidithen-kiliye,

Kavalai ini    yenakky  yetharkku

He is lord Krishna, hre  ,

Who has stolen my heart has come,

He is a thief and   held his   feet, oh parrot,

Now what is the need for me   to worry.

10. கல்கி அவதாரம் கலியுகமும்
பல்கிப் பரந்து விரிந்தாலும்
மாதவனின் தாளிருக்கக் --கிளியே
மற்றவையும் எனக்கெதற்கு !

Kalki avatharamum kaliyugamum,

Palki  parathu   virinthaalum,

Madhavanin thaal  irukka-Kiliye,

Maththavayum  yenakketharkku

Though Kalki incarnation and  Kali age,

Grew up    and spread ou, when,

Feet of Madhava  is    there, Oh parrot,

What is the need of rest to me.

11. பத்து அவதாரம் கேட்டுனக்குப்
பற்றும் அறுக்க வில்லையெனில்
எத்தைத் தின்று நீயும்--கிளியே
எங்கே கிடந்திருப்பாய் !

Pathu avatharam  kettu yenakku,

Pathum arukkavilai n  yenil,

Yethai   thindru neeyum –kiliye,

Yenge kidanthiruppai.

After hearing about the  ten incarnations

If I am not able to get cut off those desies,

Eating   wahat you will, oh Parrot

Where would you be lying
