1.AS soon as you  wake up , seeing your palm

Karagrevasathe Lakshmi

Karamadhye Saraswathi

Karamoolesthithou Gowri

Prabhathe Karadarsanam

Lakshmi lives in the tip of my palm,

Saraswathi lives in its middle,

And Gowri lives at its base,

So I see my palm in the early morning.

2.Bhoo Sthuthi-Before stepping   down from the cot 

Samudravasane devi

Parvatha sthanamandale

Vishnupatni namasthubhyam

Padahathim kshamaswame

Oh Goddess   who wears  ocean as   cloth

Mountains   as her breasts

I salute   the wife  of Vishnu

Please pardon  my  steps on you

3.While taking bath:

a. Gangecha Yamunechaiva Godavari Saraswathi

Narmade Sindhu Kaveri Jalesminsannidhim kuru

Let   Ganga  , Yamuna Godhavari  , Saraswathi

Narmadha  , Sindhu, Cauvery come   in to my water

b.Govindethi sada snanam ,

Govindethi sada japam,

Govindethi sada dhyanam ,

sada Govinda keerthanam.

Meaning

Think of Govinda while taking bath,

Think about Govinda in your prayers,

Think about Govinda always,

And always sing the name of Govinda

4.Before eating food

Aham vaiswa naro bhuthwa praninaam deham  asrithaha

pranaapana samayuktaha pachamyannam chaturvidham

AS fire  of digestion  , I   stay   in the bodies  of all beings

Along with   inhaling   and exhaling air, I digest   in  four way

5.Before Travelling/ Starting  any work  

a.Kandarpa darpagna meesam,

Kala kantam Mahesam Maha vyoma kesam,

Kundabhadandam Suresam, Koti surya prakasam,

Bhajhe Marga bandhum. 

I pray to that friend of the path,

Who put an end to the pride of God of love,

Who is the great Lord who has a deep blue throat,

Who has the great sky as his matted lock,

Whose teeth resemble the white jasmine flowers,

And who has the shine of billions of Suns.

b.Hanuman anjana sunu vayuputro mahabala

Rameshta  phalguna sakaha pingaksho amitavikramha

Udadhi kramana  schaiva Sita sokavinasakana

Lakshmana pranadaatascha dasagreevascha darpaha

dwadasaithani naamaani kapindrasya mahathamana

swapakaale padeth nithyam yatrakaale viseshataha

Tasya mrityu bhayam naasthi sarvathra vijayee bhaveth

Hanuman, son of Anjana, son of wind god  , Very strong person,

Dear  to Rama , Friend of Arjuna, one with red eye, Very valorous person

He who crossed the ocean,The one who destroyed   sorrow of Sita,

The one who gave soul to Lakshmana, one  who destroyed pride  of Ravana

These are  the twelve names of the king of monkeys  who was a great soul

If  daily read  at time of dreams also specially   at time  of travel

He will  not have  fear of death and will  be victorious   every where

c.Ya sivo naama roopabhyam ya devi sarvamangala

tayo sam smaranath pumsam sarvatho jaya mangalam

She   who has  name and form of Shivaa , That goddess  who grants  all that is good

If a man   remembers   them , he will  always   get   victory

d.Labhasthesham jayasthesham kuthasthesham parabhavaha

Yesham indeevarasyamo hrudayastho janardhanaha

He will get, he will win , his family   would be powerful

To the one  Who  keeps   the blue black  Krishna  in his mind

e.Aapadamapahartharam dhaataram sarvasampadam

Lokaabhiraamam sriraamam bhuyo bhuyo namaamyaham

He who saves  us   from danger  , He who gives  us all   types of wealth

Is Sri Rama who  art tracts   the mind of  people and I again and again  salute him

6. If   are sick

Balambikesa  vaaidyesa  , bhava  roga   haredhi cha ,

Japeth  namathrayam  nithyam  Maha roga nivaranam

 

Lord of Balambika,   the God who is a doctor   and he who cures   the disease of Samsara ,

Tho Achyuthanantha Govinda  Namocharana   beshajaath,

Nasyanthi sakala roga   sathyam sathyam  vadamyaham.

 

The chanting  of  the names  Achyutha , Anantha and Govinda  is the medicine  ,

And  I tell the truth and nothing but the  truth  that  it would destroy  all diseases.

7.After  lighting  any lamp

Dheepo Jyothi Param Brahma, Dheepo jyothi Narayana,

Dheepo harathu may papam , Sandhya dheepo Namosthuthe.

The lamp and its flame are the divine Brahmam,

The lamp and its flame are Lord Narayana,

The lamp destroys all sins and I salute the lamp at the dawn.

8 .Before Sleeping:

a.For  not getting bad dreams and getting good sleep

Achyutham, Kesavam, Vishnum,

Somam, Janardhanam,Hamsam,

Krishnam,Narayanam, Jayethu

Duswapna nasaye

Victory to Achyutha, Kesava, Vishnu,

Soma, Janardhana, Hamsa

Krishna and Narayana

Please do not show me any bad dreams

b.  Raamam skandam hanumantham vainatheyam vrukodaram

sayaneya smarenithyam duswapna sthasyanasyathi

Praying to Lord Hanuman - the ardent devotee of Lord Ram - Garuda and Bheem before sleeping everyday, will destroy bad dreams and give you good sleep.

c.Sahasra bahave  thubhyam, sahasra charanaaya cha,

Sahasra arka  prakasaya , sahasra ayudha   dharine

Oh God with one thousand  hands and also one thousand legs,

Oh Lord who shines like one thousand suns and who holds thousand weapons.

d.Agasthyo maadhavaschaiva muchukundo mahabalaha

kapilo muni raastheekaha panchaithe sukha saayinaha

Agasthya  , Madhava  , Muchukunda  , Maha  Bali

Sage  Kapila   are    five people  of proper behavior    and sleep well
