Om asya Budha kavacha  maha manthrasya

Gauthama Rishi, Anushtup Chanda,Budho devathaa

Yam bheejam, kleem sakthi, oom keelakam

Mama Budha graha Prasada sidhyarthe  Jape  Viniyoga

 

Om  For the great  Manthra of  armour of Budha

Sage is Gauthama, meter is Anushtup, god addressed is  Budha

Yam the seed , kleem the power, oom the nail

For my getting Budhas presents , I am staring the  chanting

 

Anga nyasa

Baam angushtabhyam nama, Beem Tharjaneebhyam nama, Boom madhyamabhyaam nama

Baum kanishtikaayaam nama , Baa Kara thala kara  Prashtabhyam nama

 

Bamm saluttions with thumb. Beem saltations with pinter finger  , boom salutations with middle finger

Baim  salutations with ring finger  , Boum salutations with little  finger, Baa salutations with Palm

 

Baam  Hrudayaya nama, Beem  Sirase  Swaha, Boom Shikayai   vas hat  , Baim  Kavachaya hum  , Baum Nethra thrayaya  Baushat , Baa Asthraya phat

 

Baam salutations touch chest  ,beem  salutations touch head , Boom salutations touch hai, Baim salutations armour  , Baum salutations the eye , Baa  salutations arrow

Budham pustaka hastham  cha peetha pushpa samudhyuthim

Dhyayeth jnanamayam devam  prasannam cha chathurbhujam

 

He who holds the book, he who shines like yellow flower

He who is wisdom pervaded, who has a pleased look , has four hands , I meditate

 

Gadga , Soola , gadhaa panim  , vara mudhrangitham prabhum

Peethambaradaram devamPeetha  malyanu lepanam

He who holds  sword, spear and mace in his hand, who shows symbol of boon

God  who wears yellow silk and wears a yellow    garland

 

Vajraya aabharano petham kireeta makutojjwalam

Peethaswaradha maruhya  merum yaantham  pradakshinam

 

He who wears   diamond ornaments, who shines in crown worn on head

He who rides on a yellow chariotin which he goes round Meru mounatain

 

Kavacam

 

1,Budha pathu siro desam, saumya  pathu cha phalakam

Nethre jnanamaya pathu sruthim  pathvindhu nandana

 

Let Budha protect head , the pleant one  the forehead

The eyesthe one pervaded with wisdom and ears the son of moon god

 

Granam Gadha dhara pathu  , bhujow  pusthaka bhooshitha

Madhyam  pathu suraradhyaa, pathu nabhim  Khageswara

 

Let smell be protected by one who holds the mace, the hand one who is decorated with book

Let my middle be protected by one worshipped by devas and let my belly be protected by god of birds

 

Katim somathmaja  pthu, pathu choru sureswara

Janumi rohini sutha pathu Jange  phala pradha

 

Let my hips be protected by son of moon, My thigh by god of devas

Let my knees be protected by son of Rohini and one who grants results my calf

 

Padhou bansana pathu , pathu saumyo  akhilam vapu

Peethambaradara pathu rathrim dhivamanaaratham

 

Let my feet be protected by one who sits on arrow, the pleasant one everything

Let one who wears yellow silk day and night   always

 

Yethadhvi kavacham punyam, sarva upadhrava  santhidham

Sarva  roga prasamanam, sarva   dukha nivaranam

 

This blessed armour would make  all troubles peaceful

Cure all diseases and destroy all sorrows

 

Ayur aroghya  pradham, puthra pouthra vardhanam

Ya padeth sradhayaa yuktha   srunuyadhyaa samahitha

Sarvaan kamanavaapnothi, deerga mayushya  vindhathui

 

This grants long life, health, increases sons and grand sons

If this is read or heard  with attention, you will fulfill all your desires,

And also give you a very long life span
