சனீஸ்வரன் துன்பம் தரக் கூடிய ஏழரை சனி காலம், சனி தசை நடக்கும் காலம், அஷ்டம சனி, அர்த்தாஷ்டம சனி நடக்கும் போது, சனீஸ்வரருக்கு எள் விளக்கு ஏற்றி வைத்து, கீழே குறிப்பிட்டுள்ள சனி கவசத்தை மனமுறுகி பாராயணம் செய்யும் போது நம் துன்பங்களிலிருந்து சனிபகவான் விடுவிப்பார்.

காசினி தன்னைக் காக்கும்
ஒரு பெரும் கிரகமான
ஒப்பற்ற சனியே! உந்தன்
அருள் கேட்டு வணங்குகின்றேன்!
ஆதரித் தெம்மை காப்பாய்!
பொருளோடு பொன்னை அள்ளி
பூவுலகில் எமக்குத் தாராய்!

ஏழரைச் சனியாய் வந்தும்
எட்டினில் இடம் பிடித்தும்
கோளாறு நான்கில் தந்தும்
கொண்டதோர் கண்ட கத்தில்
ஏழினில் நின்ற போதும்
இன்னல்கள் தாரா வண்ணம்
ஞாலத்தில் எம்மைக் காக்க
நம்பியே தொழுகின்றேன் நான்!

Coming as seven and half years Saturn

Giving problems staying in fourth
And being in trouble somse as Gandaka Sani

Without giving trouble to us..

பாரினில் நன்மை கிட்ட
எண்ணிய எண்ணம் எல்லாம்
ஈடேறி வழிகள் காட்ட
எண்ணெய்யில் குளிக்கும் நல்ல
ஈசனே உனைத் துதித்தேன்!
புண்ணியம் எனக்கு தந்தே
புகழ் கூட்ட வேண்டும் நீயே!

இரும்பினை உலோகமாக்கி

அணிவித்தால் மகிழ்ச்சி கொள்வாய்
பெரும் பொருள் வழங்கும் ஈசா

ஆன்றோர் உத்திரட்டாதி
