கணபதி என்றிடக் கலங்கும் வல்வினை

கணபதி என்றிடக் காலனும் கைதொழும்

கணபதி என்றிடக் கருமம் ஆதலால்

கணபதி என்றிடக் கவலை தீருமே

 

Ganapathi  yendrida  Kalangum  Valvinai

Ganapathi  yendrida Kalanum kai  thozhum

Ganapathi yendrida  karumam aathalaal

Ganapathi yendrida  kavalai  theerume

 

When we say  Ganapathi, our  bad fate would get  scared/confused

When we say  Ganapathi , even God of death  would be scared

Because   when we say  Ganapathi , it indicates  our duty

When we say  Ganapathi  , our  worries will get over

 

எனக்கு வேண்டும் வரங்களை

இசைப்பேன் கேளாய் கணபதி

 

Yenakku  vendum  varangalai

Isaippen   Kelai  , Ganapathi

 

I will recite    the boons   ,

That I want  , please hear  Oh Ganapathi

 

மனதிற் சலனமில்லாமல்

மதியில் இருளே தோன்றாமல்

நினைக்கும் பொழுது நின் மவுன

நிலை வந் திடநீ செயல் வேண்டும

கனக்குஞ் செல்வம் நூறு வயது

இவையும் தரநீ கடவாய்

Ninaikkum pothu nin Mauna ,

Nilai  vanthida  nee cheyal  vendum

Kanakkum  chelvam  , nooru vayathu

Ivayum  thara nee kadaivai

 

Without  worries  in mind

Without darkness appearing  in  our brain

Please  act so that  , whener  I think

I should  get   your silent  state

Very heavy wealth , hundred years

Please   grant   this to me
