1.Periythayeedum  duritha sanchayam,

Thuru thure  vanninganayun poal,

Karunayodenne palikkane ,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

1,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

When the increasing  bundle of sufferings,

Come   and  start  hugging  me, with ,

Mercy  please   protect   me.

2.Naraka thulyamaam   duritha sindhuvil,

Maru kara kaanathalyum pol,

Oru karm  yeki yivane  kethane ,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

2,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

When I am wandering   in the g hell like,

Ocean of sufferings , unable to find the  other shore ,

Please  give me one hand and make me reach the shore.

3.Oru thunayenniye, vazhi kaanathe , koo-,

Rirulil , jnan uzhalumpol,

Oru thari vettam ivannu  nalkane ,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

3,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

Without any help and unable to find a  way,

When I am wandering  in the o pitch darkness ,

Please give me  a small   amount of light.

4.Karunakattuvaan iniyum  thamasa,

Maruthe kaarvarnaa , Jagadheesaa,

Garuda  vahana, purahara  priya,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

For showing your mercy , let delay ,

Be not there  , Oh cloud coloured one , Oh God  of universe,

Oh Lord riding on Garuda and Oh God liked by Lord Shiva.

5.Manivarnaa nin thirumukha padmam,

Kani kaanaan bhagyam  arulenam,

Paniyunnen jnan nin Pada pankajam,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

5,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

Oh Lord with a shine of a gem,  t you have to grant ,

Me Luck  to be able to see    your lotus like face,

And I am bowing down in front I of your lotus  like feet.

6.Adiyende hruthil vasikeenam, peeli,

Mudi choodum nin thiru roopam,

Pati patiyai nin padmarnidenam,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

6,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

Your divine form  in which you decorate,

Yourself with peacock ,

Would slowly raise   and each your feet.

7.Anavadhi dushta jaalamezhum  ,

Vanamithil chuththi yalayumbol,

Kanivode neraam, vazh kaattidenam.

7,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

When I   am wandering  in this forest,

With several  wicked  nets   galore,

Please show me the way with compassion.

8.Kanpathellam nin roopam aakenam,

Kelpatho   venu ganavum,

Unmayohathinnu   arulenam,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

8,Oh  God residing   in Guruvayur  ,

Whatever  I see  should be your form,

Whatever I hear should be the music of your flute,

Truthfully you should grant me this with mercy.

9.Ennamillaththa theththu kuththangal,

Kanna  cheithen jnan yengilum  ,

Vinnor nadhan   neeyabhayamekane,

Guruvayur  Vaazhum Bhagawane

Though I have committed countless 

Mistakes and crimes, Oh Krishna ,

You being the lord  of the devas should offer me  protection,
