1.Vedantha vedhya vibhave   Vishnu  Vaksho Viharini  ,

Aravindaksha dhayithe Lakshmyasthu thava  mangalam

Oh wealth of those who  have learnt  the Vedas, Who lives on the  chest of Lord Vishnu  ,

Oh consort  of lotus   eyed lord, Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you.

2,Sarva mangala  mangalye  , sarva  mangala  devathe  ,

SArva mangakyaa sthuthye, Lakshmyasthu   thava  mangalam.

2.Oh auspiciousness  of all auspicious things  , Oh Goddess of  all auspiciousness,

Oh Goddess who is praised by  all auspiciousness , Oh Lakshmi  auspiciousness  to you.

3,Padma sadhme   Padma  hasthe , Padma lochana  bhamini,

Padma bhu poojithe  nithyam Lakshmyasthu  thava  mangalam.

Oh Goddess  who lives in lotus, who holds a  lotus, who is consort  of lotus eyed one  ,

Who is  daily prayed by Brahma who was born out of a lotus, , Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

4.Indraani mukha geervaani  , gana seva  praharshini ,

SArveshaam Jagad amba  , Lakshmyasthu thava  mangalam.

4.Oh Goddess  who  is pleased with  the deva loka ladies lead by Indrani,

Who is  the mother  of all  worlds  , Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

5.Thwad ingitha paraadheeno hari sarveswaropi   san,

Kuruthe nikhilam karma , Lakshmyasthu thava  mangalam.

Hari , the god of all is bound by your wishes,

And does all acts   as per your  wishes, Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

6.Indraaya thyaktha  saapaaya trilokya aiswarya   dhayini,

Ashtabhir murthibhir jushte, Lakshmyasthu  thava mangalam.

Oh Goddess  who saved Indra  from the curse, Who gave prosperity to the three  worlds,

Who took    eight   different forms  , Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

7.Suparvabhi sadaa aradhye , shobhavathi , suchismithe  ,

Sarva  kama pradhe  devi, Lakshmyasthu  thava  mangalam.

Oh Goddess  who is forever worshipped by devas , who is lustrous, who has a  pretty smile  ,

Who is goddess  fulfilling all desires, Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you.

8.Shubhaani nija naamaani  sadaa varthayathhaam  sathaam,

Mudhaa sreyo vidhayinyaa, Lakshmyasthu   thava mangalam

To those   who keep on repeating   your very sacred  name,

You give joy and fame, Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

9.Sathaamathma havis thyaga kriyodesyathya sthithe  ,

Kanthena harinaa  saakam  , Lakshmyasthu  thava  mangalam.

You along   with your consort Hari accept   the  offering in fire ritual  ,

Of the   souls of good persons  and give them salvation, Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

10.Sva drushti gochara  sthana  sidhyath  sampath samrudhike ,

Vilasad  sarva  kalyaane , Lakshmyasthu  thava mangalam.

Wherever t your sight reaches  there lots of prosperity  arises,

And you are  collection of all that is  good  , Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

11.Divyam sthanam parithyajya  pathyaa  saha   namaskruthe,

Omkara nagarim  prapthe Lakshmyasthu   thava mangalam

Oh Goddess  leaving  your divine place where  you were saluted  along with your consort  ,

You reached   this town of “Om” , Oh Lakshmi   auspiciousness  to you

12.Ya padeth sathatham  Lakshmi  mangalam Bhakthiman nara  ,

Sa syaathasya prasaadhena  sarva  mangala  bhajanam.

That person who reads  this  Lakshmi Mangalam   daily with devotion,

Due to the grace   of that Goddess  would live with all auspiciousness.

       Ithi Sarala Kavi Sri Raghavacharya krutham  Sri Mahalakshmi  mangalam.
