1.Kama koti   sidha  peeta   bhooshanam hi ya swayam

Sweeya bhaktha   visudhi prathya  vaya  varakam,

Nithya shudha   budha muktha Brahma jnana  Dhayakam,

Aanathosmi sad gurum   Yatheendra  Chandra  Shekaram

He was the  ornament    to   seat  of Kama koti and  he  was himself,

Having true devotion, purity of mind  and  he was   great guide  to all,

Giving   daily purity  , wisdom , detachment and knowledge  of brahmam,

I salute   with reverence  the great guru , the king of saints Chandra  Shekara 

2.Haasya mudhrayaa bhaveth krupaa  kataksha  veekshanam,

Prasanna chitha  darsanena santhi   bodha  dhayakam,

Saukhya bhagya  dhayakam samastha   dukha  nasakam

Aanathosmi sad gurum   Yatheendra  Chandra  Shekaram

His  merciful  look  by the corner of his eyes had an amount of smile ,

With  a  calm mind when he looked, you get  peace   and wisdom,

He also gave luck, pleasant life  to all and destroyed  all   sorrows,

I salute   with reverence  the great guru , the king of saints Chandra  Shekara 

3.Ajna bala Saadhako aham aasraye padambhujam,

Bhashya kaara jnana drushtimaapnuyaam guro  paraam,

Prarthyehi   desikendra pahi pahi pahi maam

Aanathosmi sad gurum   Yatheendra  Chandra  Shekaram

I am an ignorant   child  student and I   depend  on his  lotus like feet,

From the divine Guru I  am getting the divine  sight  of  the  commentator

I pray to the king of Guru, protect, protect, protect me,

I salute   with reverence  the great guru , the king of saints Chandra  Shekara 

4.Poojya padha bhashya kara vandhya pada pankaje,

Shad padasya may yather  atheeva preethirasthi hi,

Brahmabhavasva anubhuthi sidhirasthu may sadhaa,

Aanathosmi sad gurum   Yatheendra  Chandra  Shekaram

Venerable  feet  of the commentator I salute  you  the lotus like feet,

And  I  have great love to  the six verse poem of the great saint,

And may he always  get the ecstasy  of likeness  of Brahma,

I salute   with reverence  the great guru , the king of saints Chandra  Shekara 

Chant  daily   three  times

Jagadhguro  Sri Bhashyakara jaya poojyapaadha varya,

Brahmathmaikyam bodhaya  swamin   advaithacharya

Oh teacher of the world, Oh commentator , Hail saint with worshipful feet,

Please teach me  unity  with Brahmam , Oh Swami   who is the teacher of Advaitha
