SAnarai mamalai   nilayana  swami  , mani kantaane,

Yi papikal aagumee yezhakalil nee  varamarulene,
koti koti  inam  iru mudiyai ninne,Kaanmaanaai

Oh God Manikanta  who is in  big  SAbari  mala  mountain,

Please give boons  these  poor people   who are  sinners,

Crores and crores of people  come with two section bundle   to see  you

Vannu  kaadu neele   viri vechu vasikkum  bhakthare,

Saranam  . saranam, thiruvadi saranam  swamiye

Nin thiruvadi saranam saranamai  varane  Ayyappa

Oh devotees   who have come   and lying down all  along the forest,

I surrender,surrender , diivine feet  surrender  oh God,

We surrender to  your divine feet, Oh Lord   come to protect us

Karadi, kaduva, puli, kaattanukalum   vaazhunna,

Vana  nirakaliloode aniyai janam porunnu,

Aha  , yenthoru  kazhchaye kaanaam pambayil

Between the forests where Bear  , tiger ,lion  wild elephants live,

The people    are  coming in continuous  rows,

Aha  what   a sight    can be   seen in Pamba

Vana mohanamaakum  kazhcha  yithonnum kaanmeele,

Saranam saranam thiruvadi saranam swamiye,

Nin  thiruvadi saranamai  varaname   Ayyappa

I will not see these  scenes  which  make   the forest,

Coming   from buildings  , gem studded  apartments   one by one,

I salute your flower like feet, Come , come   with speed Ayyappa,
