வேழ முகங்கொண்டவனே வேந்தனே !
கணபதியே !வெற்றிகள் தருபவனே !
வினையெல்லாம் தீர்ப்பவனே !
பேழை வயிறு கொண்ட பிள்ளையார்ப் பெருமானே!
பேறுபல தந்தெமக்கு பெரும்புகழை அளித்திட வா!
ஏழைக்கு அருள்செய்ய எப்போதும் வருபவனே !
ஏங்கிநிற்கும் குழவிபோல் இருக்கின்றோம் உனைநோக்கி !
வாழ்விக்கும் வள்ளலே !

அரவை அணிகலனாய் அரையில் அணிந்தவனே !
இந்தின் இளம்பிறையாம்எயிறு கொண்டவனே !
ஈசன் திருக்குமரா !இனிய உமை தவப்புதல்வ !
நந்தி மகனுன்னை நாளும் பரவிடுவோம் ;

Along with puffed rice, neaten rice bengal gram/ground nut
The Kozhukattai which is of golden colour
And since we feel it is not sufficient,
We will offer you Modhakas also

The poet Avvayar after bowing to you
Gave a poem known as agaval
Kapilar praising you gave the pretty Mani malai(garland of gem)
In the pure Tamil poet Nakkerar gave you an agaval
The vary famous kasyapa gave you a special kavacham(rmour)
The poet Kavi kunjara bharathi gave you a ripened Anubhoothi
The Bharathi of virgin Tamil put a garland of poems on you
Oh Lord who blessed Avvayar

சங்கரரும் உளங்கனிந்து புஜங்கம் ரத்னம் செய்தார்
சந்ததமும் அதைப்பாடி சாமி உன்றன் பதம் பணிவோம்
எங்கேயும் துன்பமில்லை எரம்பா உனைத் தொழுதால்
இந்திரன் போல் பதவி வரும் இனியவனே நீ நினைந்தால்
சங்கடங்கள் ஓடிவிடும் சதிராடும் இன்பங்கள்
எங்கிருந்தும்
வெற்றி வரும் ஏறெடுத்து நீ பார்த்தால
சங்கரனின் அரும்புதல்வா!

With a matured heart , adhi Sankara created a Bhujanga Rathna on you
Always singing that, we will bow before you feet
Oh Heramba , if we pray you, there is no sorrow anywhere
We will get a position like Indra, oh sweet one , if you think
Sorrows will run away and joy will start dancing,
Victory will come from all places, if you see us
Oh dear son of Lord Shiva
