Jnanamrutha  Stotram- the death  dissolving hymn

(this grat  prayer occurs  in Garuda  Puransa. It seems hearing this gret prayer, the god  of death ran away from there  being chased by  Vishnu Dhoothas

1.Yasya   viswam  anadhyantham ajam  athmani  sammsthitham,

Sarvajnam  chalam  , Vishnum   sadhaa  dhyayeth sa muchyathe

 

You   will get salvation, by constant meditation on   Lord Vishnu,

Who exists from beginning to end of  the universe, who is not born,

Who  exists   in the soul, who is all knowing and  is very stable.

 

2.Devam  garbochitham   Vishnum  sadhaa   dhyayan  Vimuchyathe

Asareeram  vidhaatharam sarva  jnana  manoritham

Achalam  sarvajnam  Vishnum  sadaa  dhyayan  Vimuchyathe,

 

You will  get salvation  by always meditating on the stable  all knowing Vishnu,

From whom all devas were  created and you will   get salvation  by meditation,

On Vishnu who did not have a body, who is the creator and  one who knows every thing.

 

3.Nirvikalapam  niirabhasham , nisprapancham, niramayam,

Vasudevam  Gurum, Vishnum sadaa dhyayan  Vimuchyathe

 

You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

Who is all pervading, who is free of doubts , who has no expansion,

Who is without any stain  and is  Vasudeva  the   Guru

 

4.Sarvathmakancha vai yavadathma chaithanya  roopakam,

Shubham   ekaksharam, Vishnum sadaa dhyayan  Vimuchyathe

 

 You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

Who is in all  souls  and who  has a form that   is a universal spirut

 

5,Vakhyaatheetham  trikalajnam  visvesam , loka sakshinam,

Sarvasamath   uthamam , Vishnum   sadaa dhyayan  Vimuchyathe

 

You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

Who is beyond words, Who knew past , present and the future,

Who is god of the universe, Who is the  witness  of Universe,

And who is the best   among  those who know everything

 

6.Brahmadhi deva gandharvair munibhi  sidha    charanair,

Yogibhi   sevitham, Vishnum sadaa   dhyayan   Vimuchyathe

 

You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

Who by  Devas right from Brahma, Gandharwas, sages,

Sidhas, Chaaranaas    and also yogis

 

7. SAmsara  bandhanam mukthim yichaam  loko hestatha

Stutvaivam  Varadam  Vishnum  sadaa dhyanam vimuchyathe

 

You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

And  people by chanting  this prayer , you would    also receive

Freedom   from ties   of the world and rebirth  

 

8.Samsara  bandhanath  kopi mukthim icchaan  samahitha,

Anantham  avyayam  devam  Vishnum , viswa prathisthitham,

Visweswaram ajam  Vishnum  sadaa dhyanam  vimuchyatham

 

You will attain salvation on always  meditating   on Vishnu,

And also all those  who are interested  in getting  out  of ties of Samsara

Should  contemplate  on Vishnu , who is endless

Who does not decay, who is  in this universe,

Who is god of the universe and  who does not have birth
