Learning  the  manthra and    getting rid of  hunger, thirst    and sleep

After killing   the Rakshasi    who came  in their way,

And destroyed the fear of the way, Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

31`Dushtaraam  nisachara vadham kazhichu  , yagavum

Pushtamayi mudichu  nee  , Mukunda Rama Pahi Maam, Rama, Rama

 

After  you  killed   the evil  Rakshasas, you  helped,

You took rest   in the hermitage   of     the sage   for,

33Anya naal  ushassi pinne  viswamithranodumai

Annavidunnu  Gamicha  , Rama Rama Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

After rest of three  days , at the dawn you  started  from there,

Along  with sage Viswamithra, Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

34,Gauthamande  saapamethu  , kallathayi kidannoru

Kanja ner muzhikku  mokshameenta  ,  Rama Pahi maam  Rama Rama

 

You gave  freedom to   the lotus eyed one lying there as stone,

Due to curse of Gauthama, Oh Rama,  protect me  Rama Rama

 

35.Videha rajya mul pukinthu , viswa nayakanude

Vil murichu   seethaye varicha  ,Rama Pahi maam   Rama Rama

 

You entered the   country  of Janaka, broke   the bow  of the,

Lord of universe and  married Sita Oh Rama,  protect me  Rama Rama

 

36.Ponnidum dasanthare yethirthu vanna Bhargavan,

Thanneyum  Jayicha nee, Mukunda Rama pahi maam   Rama,Rama

 

When you were returning, Parasurama came  opposing you,

And you   won over him, Oh Raghava, Oh Mukunda, Oh Rama protect me  Rama, Rama

Obeying    he orders of father along with  younger brother,

After getting the blessings of father as well as  mother,

You got up the chariot  along with Sumanthra   the minister,

He who crossed  the river speedily  with thanks   ,

He then entered   inside    the hermitage of sage Bharadwaja ,

Who completely  blessed him , Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

45.Mamuneendranaayidunna  Valmikiyeyum   mudhaa

Kshemamodanugrahicha Rama Rama  Pahi maam  Rama Rama

 

He  who was blessed with happiness   by   the great  sage,

Valmiki   also  , Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

46.Chithrakootamaakramichu  parna  saalayum  chamachu

Shudha  pathniyodumangirunna  Rama Rama  Pahimaam Rama Rama

 

He took   over Chithrakoota   , constructed   a grass hut,

And lived there  with his  pure wife, Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

47.BHaratha bhashitha  sravichu  paithru   karma  tharpanangal,

Bhakthiyai  kazhichavide Rama Rama  Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

He heard  what  BHaratha  told, Did THarpanas to his father,

With great  devotion there, Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

48.Padhukam  BHarathanangu   pooja cheithu kolluvaan

Preethiyai  koduthayacha  Rama Rama Pahi Maam   Rama Rama

 

He with love  gave his sandals to Bharatha  for worship,

And then sent him back  , Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

49. Athri thaapaasrame   gamichu   ningal moovarum

Rathriyum  kazhinjavide anya nal ushasaathil   Rama Rama Pahimaam

 

All the three of them then went  to hermitage  of Sage athri

Spend the night there and departed in the morning, Oh Rama,  Rama protect me

 

50.Yathrayaya  neramathra padathikethirthoru,

Veeranaam  viraadhane   vadhicha   Rama Rama Pahi maam   Rama Rama

 

Because  the time that   they departed was not   usual,

They killed the  valorous  Viradha  Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

51.Thirichu  nee  sarasamai sarabhangaasramavum  aa

Sutheshna  vaatavum  kadanna   Rama Rama Pahi Maam  Rama Rama

 

You returned   back and happily  went to hermitage  of SaraBhanga

And the  home of sutheeshna  , Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

52.Adbuthanganaayittum   agasthyaneyum anjasaa,

Aadhi theerthu   anugrahicha  Rama Rama  Pahi Maam   Rama Rama

 

Then with  the wonderful lady nearcy   he went to hermitage of Agasthya

Who blessed him to  get his worries removed  , Oh Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

53Pancha sayakopamaa   gamichu pinne nee mudhaa

Pancha vati thannil angirunna  Rama Pahi Mamm  Rama Rama

 

You  who had matchless five weapons went afterwards with joy,

And went and stayed in Panchavati, Oh  Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

54.Soorpanakha  thannudeya karna  , nasika kucham,

Soonya  Lakshmanagraja Mukunda  Rama  Pahi maam Rama Rama

 

Then oh elder brother  , Lakshmana cut  nose,   ears and breasts,

Of Soorpanakha , Oh Mukunda  , Oh Rama Look  after me, Rama , Rama

 

55.Vannoru  kharaadhiye    vadhichu mukthiyekiya,

Varija    vilochana, Mukunda Rama  Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

Then you killed   and gave   salvation to Khara and others,

Oh  Lotus eyed Mukunda , Oh Rama look after me, Rama Rama

 

56.Vahni mandalathil annu  SEethayo  maranju pinne

Mayayaya Seetha than  Manobhi rama Pahi Maam Rama rama

 

That day Sita   disappeared  in the orbit of fire and later,

As per wish of  Maya Sita, Rama, Look   after me  , Rama Rama

 

57 Maarechande  maayyaal madhichu  vanna maanine,

Maanamai   pidippathinnu poya Rama Pahi maam Rama Rama

 

Seeing  the deer which came jumping  due to magic of Mareecha

Oh Rama you went  to cach it  with respect, Rama, look after me , Rama

 

58.Aasa  vittoru saram  thoduthayachu  Sathwaram,

OOsiyaakki  Manine  hanicha  Rama pahi maam Rama Rama

 

After loosing hopt, you sent an arrow    speedilt

And  with that sharp one  you killed the deer, Rama look after  me Rama

 

59.Lakshmanan   varuthangu  kandu  karyamokkeyum

THalkshanam grahichu konda   Rama Rama Pahi Maam  Rama Rama

 

When he saw  Lakshmana coming  , he guessed  al matters,

Immediately  , Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

60.Parooshamokkayum  paranju   thambi yodangeershayaa

Paritapicha angu  AAgrahicha   Rama Rama Pahi maam  Rama Rama

 

With anger   he told    scolding  words  to his younger   brother,

And then repented and wished  , Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

61.Pathniye kaanaanjittangu   o pinthirinju nokkiyum

Palavuru paranju  kena  , Rama Rama, Pahi maaam Rama Rama

 

Seeing that his wife was missing, he   thought About  what happened earlier,

And told it several times   and cried, Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

62.Kapata naatangal   onnum orthathillaa  Lakshmanan,

Koodave  nadannuzhanna , Rama Rama Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

Lakshmana never  thought about   the drama of deceit,

And walked together with sorrow, Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

63.Pakshiyaam  jatayauvodu  pathni  than vruthaanthavum

Sikshyodu kettarinjaa  Rama Rama Pahi mam   Rama Rama

 

Then by asking the bird Jatayu  , he came to  know,

All that has happened to his wife with pain  , Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

64.Bhakthanaam  jatayuvinnu   mokshavum  koduthu pinne,

SAkthanaam  Kabandhane Vadhicha   Rama  Rama  Pahimaam Rama  Rama

 

Then he gave salvation    to Jatayu who he was  his devotee

 And later,Killed the very strong Kabandha  , Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

65.SAbari aasrame gamichu   sarva kaaryavum  grahichu

SAbariyum   Gathiyadanju  , Rama Rama Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

Then they went to hermitage of Sabari, understood everything,

And Sabari went to heaven , Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

66.Rishya mooka  parswam   angu ananja  neramanjasaa

Viswasicha maruthiyodagamicha  Raghava Rama Rama

 

Then he reached   near  the Rishya  moka mountain and then

Believed in Hanuman and went with him, Oh Raghava , Rama Rama

 

67.Arka puthranaayeedunna  Sugreevane kandu  Thammil,

SAkhyavum   kazhichu konda, Rama , Rama Pahi maam   Rama Rama

 

There he saw Sugreeva   the son of sun God and    entered  in to,

A treaty   with him, Oh  Rama, Rama protect me  Rama Rama

 

68.Kunnedutherinju  pinne  thannude parakramam,

Kaatti ninna   Raghava  , Mukunda  Rama Pahi Maam Rama  Rama

 

Rama took and threw a hill   and  then proved  his valour,

Oh Mukunda Oh Rama  , protect me    Rama , Rama

 

69.Saptha saalam yezhum   angu orambu kondu  sathwaram,

Klipthamai  pilarnnu  nee, Mukunda Rama Pahi Maam Rama Rama

 

You pierced the seven sala trees with a single arrow easily,

And properly split them, Oh Mukunda Oh Rama  , protect me    Rama , Rama

 

70.Olichu  ninnu Baliye  thilacha   ambinaaludan

Kola kazhichha  Raghava  Mukunda  Rama  Pahi Maam  Rama Rama

 

Standing hidden   , Oh Raghava    with one arrow  , you killed,

Then you  removed   the sorrow  and hesitation of Thara ,

As soon as his    elder brother died , you gave   the country,

73.Naalu  masavum   kazhinju   vannidaanju   sugreevan

Naatyamodu   THambiyeyacha   Rama Pahi Maam   Rama  Rama

 

When he saw Sugreeva  not coming even after  four months .

He sent  his younger brother with anger, Oh Rama, look after me Rama Rama

 

74.Deviye thiranju  povathinnu    vanna vanara

SEna kandu bhavamaarnna   Rama Rama Phi Mamm  Rama Rama

 

He changed his mood on seeing the   monkey   army , who came,

75.Anguleeyam aasu    pinne aasthayodu mappozhe

He immediately gave   his signet ring with hope,

76.Sithayodu  cholvathinnnu  shilpamaaya  vakhyavum
