1.Chandanam  manakkum sannidhiye-konda

Chandra shekara  Guruve,

Santhathamum ummai paninthidave-arul

Chandrashekara  sath  Guruve

 

Oh Chandra shekara  Sadh guru , who has

The temple with sandal smell,

Oh Chandra shekara  Sudh guru, please bless

That  I should daily  bow  before you

 

2.Chandra  mouleeswarar poojayile  nitham

Chandranai  jolitha  -sath guruve

Chandira pirai nethri dhinam kaanave-Arul

Chandra  Shekara  Sath guruve

 

Oh SAth guru  who shined  like moon , daily,

In worship of Chandra  Mouleeswara

To see the forehead like crescent of moon,please bless

3.Chandira  oliya pozhinthiduveer-manam

Chandhitha irul thanai  pokkiduveer

Chanditha    thuyar theernthu arul  perave –ummai

Sandhikka arulveer , Kanchiyile

 

Please  daily shower  the moon’s light so that, the darkness,

Met the mind   is destroyed

To get blessings after the sorrow  that met gets  destroyed,

Please bless so that  we can meet you.

 

4.Santhathi  kaathu arul  sankarare-unthan

Sannidhi  valam   vara  arulveere

Chandra mouleeswarar  darisaname-arul,

Chandra  shekara   Guruve

 

Oh Sankara  please  protect my children, bless ,

So that we can go round   your self/your temple
