Durgai ammanai thuthithaal yendrum thunbam paranthodum
Dharmam kaakkum thaayaam avalai Darisanam kandal pothum
Karma Vinaikalum odum , sarva mangalam koodum (Jya jaya devi..)
If we pray Goddess Durga , always sorrow will fly away
It is sufficient to see her who is the mother protecting Dharma
Then fate as per karma would run away, All good things will join together

Holding in her golden hand conch, wheel , bow, arrow, shining sword
Spear and trident, the mother will stand,She would be sitting on her lion
She would stand wearing moon on her head and 3would give us an auspicious life
She is the queen among women and she is also one having pretty eyes like fish
