The armour  of Budha

Om Asya  Sri Budha Kavacha stotra Maha Manthrasya

 

To the great chant  of the prayer of Budha’s armour

 

Kathyayani  rishi  , Anushtup Chanda , Budho  Devatha, Yam Bheejam , Kleem Sakthi , Oom Keelakam  ,

 

The sage is Kathyayani  , the meter is Anushtup, the god addressed is Budha, Yam is the root, Kleem is the power  and  OOm  is the power

, I am starting the chant for getting blessing of Planet Budha

 

Dhyanam

1.Budham pusthaka hastham  cha  peetha pushpa samudhyuthim,

Dhyayeth jnana mayam   devam prasannam   cha Chathurbhujam

 

I meditate on Budha holding a book and having yellow flower

Who is God full of wisdom, having pleasant look and having four hands

 

2.Gadga  soola   gadhaa Paanim , vara mudrangitham prabhum

Peethambaradharam  devam  peetha  malyanu lepanam

 

Having sword mace and sword in his hands, the lord has  blessed seal

Wears yellow clothsand wears yellow garland and yellow paste

 

3.Vajradhayaa bharanopetham   kireeta makutojjwalam

Peethaswa   Radhamaruhya  Merum Yantham  Pradakshinam

 

He has a diamond  royal staff  and a very shining crown

Rides on a chariot drawn by yellow   horse and goes round Meru Mountain

 

Kavacham

 

1.Budha  Pathu  Sirodesam  , Saumya pathu Phalakam

Nethre  jnanamayapathu  , sruthim pathu  Indu nandana

 

Let Budha protect head areas, The soft one protect my  forehead

Let one who is pervaded with  wisdom protect my eyes and son of moon protect the ears

 

2,Graanam gadha dhara pathu , bujou pusthaka bhooshitha\

Madhyam pathu   Suraradhyaa, pathu nabhim khageswara

 

Let one who carries  mace  protect my nose, Let he who is decorated  by book  protect my hamds

Let him who is worshipped by devas protect  my middle and the god of birds protect my belly

 

3.Katim  somathmaja pathu, pathu chaooru   sureswara

Januni Rohini soonu pathu   Jange phala pradha

 

Let son of mon protect my waist, let my calf  be protected by  god of devas

Let my knee  be protected by son of Rohini and thigh by fruitful one

 

4.Padhou Banasana   pathu  , pathu saumyam akhilo vapu

Peethambaradara pathu   Rathri   dhina maanaratham

 

Let feet be protected by one who sits on arrows  and Let Saumya protect  all the rest

Let the one who wears protect niht and day and always

 

5.Yethadhi kavacham   punyam sarvopadrava  santhidham

SArva roga  prasamanam   sarva Dukha nivaranam

 

This armour   is blessed  and pacifies  all troubles

Cures all diseases and  puts an end to all sorrow

 

6.Aayur arogya   shubadam  , puthra pouthra  pravardhanam

Ya padeschradwaya yukthaa  Srunuyadha  samahitha

 

This grants good life span and health  and increases son and grand sons

If is read twice  or heard   with  a peaceful state

 

 

Sarva kamavapnothi   deergamayuscha  vindathi

All jobs would be  done and also you will get a long life span
