1.Paramelkavil kudi kollum BHagawathi

Pavithra  karini, para brahma  roopini

Adiyande  janmaam ola kudakkum  nee

Amara  padham nalgu, amme  , amara padham nalgu

 

Oh Goddess  who lives in Paramel kavu

Who makes  everything pure, who has  form of divine  Brahmam

Even to  my life  of  palm leaf  umbrella

Please grant divinity, Oh mother , please grant divinity

 

2.Saptha  sindhukkalaal thaththri   varinjoree

Visrutha mani  veena  kayyil  yenthi

Hrudhya  swaramathreyum meettunna nin nadha-

Vidhyayil unaraavu jnaan devi nin

Chithamayi pularaavu jnaan

 

You hold  in your hand  the famous veena , drawn,

By the chief  priest using   the seven oceans

And I should only wake up, in your musical talent

Which   rises  up  very attractive musical note

And I should mentally get  awake only then

 

3. Sandhyakal Kumkuma  guruthiyaadum

Yuga Sankrama gopura   thiru nadayil

Jeevande kilikakkum  akshara moottuvaan

Nee unarnnirikkunnu   devi,

Nin kai vala kilungunnu

 

In the dusk the red guruthi  of Kukum  would flow

In your  divine gate  with a tower of  the beginning of Yuga

To feed  alphabets  to the  birds  of life

Oh goddess  you are  awake

Your bangles on hand  shakes and produces sound
