Four verse   Ramayana

1.ராம ஜனனம் முதல் ஸீதா கல்யாணம் வரை

From birth of Rama till marriage  with Sita

 

ராம: கௌசிகம் அன்வகாத் பதிமுனேர் வாசா வதீத் தாடகாம்

ஸத்ரம் தஸ்ய ரரக்ஷ தேன கதிதா: ஸுச்ராவதாஸ்தா: கதா:

கத்வாதோ மிதிலாம் விதாய த்ருஷதம் யோஷிந்மணிம் ஸந்முநே:

பங்க்த்வா தூர்ஜடி சாபமாப ரமணீம் ஸீதாபிதானாமபி ||

 

Rama kaushikam  anvagathpathi  muner  vaachaa  vadheeth  thadagaam

Sathram thasya rarakshathena gathithaa sushravadhasthaa  kadhaa

Gathwaa  tho   mithilaam  Vidhaya thrishatham yoshinmanim sath  mune

Pankhthwaa dhoorjati chapam   aapa    ramaneem  sithabhi dhanamapi

 

Rama accompanied sage  Kausika   and   as per his word  killed Thadaga

After  protecting  his fire sacrifice, he heard   well the stories from sage

They  went to Mithila, stepping on      gem like women   as perwords of sage

Then breaking the  heavy  bow, he   made   the pretty   Sita   ashis

 

2.பரசுராமரை வெல்வது முதல் சுக்ரீவ பட்டாபிஷேகம் வரை

From Victory over  Parasurama till crowning of  Sugreeva

 

ஸீதாயா: கரலாலனேன ஸ க்ருதி ஜித்வா முனிம் பார்கவம்

ஸாகேதம் தரஸா ப்ரவிச்ய ஜனனீம் ஆனந்தயன் மத்யமாம் |

ஆஸீத் யோ விபினே சதுர்தச ஸமா ரக்ஷன் முனீன் ஆனதான்

ரக்ஷஸ்ஸங்கம் அதாவதீத் அகடயத் ராஜ்யம் ச ஸூர்யாத்மஜே ||

 

Sithayaa  kara lalanena as  krithi jithwaa munim   Bhagavam

SAketham   sarasaa pravisya , jananim aanandayam  madhyamam

3.Aaseth yo  vipine  chathurdasa samaa  rakshan  muneen  aanathaan

Raksha  sangam  adha vadheeth   aghatayath   rajyam   cha    sooryathmaje

 

He caressed   the hands  of Sita as a job and won over  Parasurama

With pleasure  after  entering Ayodhya he drowned his m mother  in joy

He came to the  forest for fourteen years  protected  the sages due to that

For protecting   his group  he killed   and gave country to son of  Sun God

 

3.அநுமன் தூது செல்வது முதல் ராவண வதம் வரை

From going of Hanuman as messanger till killing of Hanuman

 

வாயோராத்ம புவா ததோ ஹநூமதா பாதோதி பார ஸ்திதாம்

ப்ராணேப்யோபி கரீயஸீம் ப்ரியதமாம் விஜ்ஞாய ரக்ஷோ ஹ்ருதாம் |

ஸேதும் வாரிநிதௌ விதாய விவிதானந்தாக வித்வம்ஸனம்

லங்காயாம் விலுலாவ ராவண சிரோ ப்ருந்தானி வந்தேய தம் ||

 

Vayor   athma  bhuva thatho  Hanumathaa   padhothi   bhara  sthithaam

Pranebhyopi gareeyaseem priya thamam vijnaya  raksho  Hruthaam

SEthum  varinidhow vidhaya  vividhanandhaka   vidhwamsanam

Lankayaam   vilulava  Ravana  siro brindani   vandhena   tham

 

The darling  of wind god  Hanuman then crossed   the ocean

He came to know the place of the wife of Rama who is deaer than his life and informed him

After building the  bridge over the ocenby expert who became  happy in many ways

They reached Lanka and cut off the head of Ravana and was saluted  by the army

 

4.சீதா ராம பட்டாபிஷேகம்

Crowning of Sita  and Rama

 

ஆருஹ்யாத விபீஷணேன ஸுபகம் பக்த்யா ஸமா வேதிதம்

மான்ய புஷ்பகம் அஞ்ஜஸா நிஜபுரீம் ஆகத்ய மித்ரைர் வ்ருத: |

ஆனந்தாய வஸிஷ்ட காச்யப முகை: பட்டாபிஷிக்தோ விபு:

தஸ்மின் ஜாக்ரதி ஜானகீ ப்ரியதமே கா நாம பீதிர் மம ||

 

AAroohya adha   vibheeshanena  subhagam  bakthya  samaa vedhitham

Maanyam  pushpakam anjasaa nija pureem agathya mithrair  vridha

AAnandhaaya   vasishta  kashyapa  mukhair, pattabhishiktho   vibhu

Thasmin  jagrathi  janaki  priyathame, kaa naama bheethir  mama

 

After  crowning Vibheeshana who was a good devotee after  travelling

In in the great  pushpaka  plane, he came  to his own city  and saw his friends

Became very happy and the lord was crowned  by Vasishta  and Kashyapa

Keeping his darling Janaki  happy and let that remove  my fear

 

இந்த ஸ்தோத்திரத்தின் பலன்

The result  of reading this prayer

 

தநுஷ்கர சதுச்ச்லோகீ தநுஷ்புர கவீரிதா |

மாரீகா தர சித்தானாம் மாரீதிமிதராம் திசேத் ||

 

Dhanushkara  chathu sloki dhanushpura ka veeridha

Maaree ka thara  chithaanaam maarethimithararaam   diseth

 

The four verses of Rama holding the bow composed by the poet of the city of bow

Would cure  the plague  like disease and  would take you away  from death
