Maa telugu thalli ki malle poo dhanda

Maa kanna thalli ki mangala aarathilu

Kadupulo Bangara kanu choopulo  karuna

Chiru navvulo chirulu doralinsusu  maa  thalli

 

To our  Telugu  mother jasmine flower garland

For  our  dearest own  mother  auspecious  worship

She  has  gold  in her  belly and  glance  of eyes  full of  mercy

In her small smile sprouts  all the  riches, She is  our mother

 

gala gala godhari kadali pothuntenu

Bira  bira Krishnamma peruguliduthuni

Bangaru  pantale panduthayee

Muripaala  muthyaalu dhoraluthayee

 

The  Godavari  goes to sea making  gurgling sound

The  fast tripping river mother  Krishna is going  in growing waves

Oh mother  you grant crops  which  are gold

And  the darling  spiral of pearls roll down all over , mother

 

Amaravathi nagara  apuroopa  shilpaalu

Thyagayya gonthulothaaradu naadhiyalu

Nithyamai nikhilamai nilachiyundedaka

Rudramma bhuja sakthi, mallamma  pathi bakthi

Thimmarasu theeyukthi , Krishna  rayala keerthi

Maa  chevulu  ringumani maaru mrogedhakka

Nee aatttale  aaduthaam –nee paatale  padutham
