1.மாயவன் தங்கை நீ மரகதவல்லி நீ மணிமந்த்ரகாளி நீயே!

 

Maayavan thangai  nee , Marakatha  valli  nee

Mani manthra kali neeye

 You are younger  sister of Krishna, you are  the emerald creeper,You are the great gem of Kali

 

2.மாயாசொரூபி நீ மகேஸ்வரியுமான நீ

மலையரசன் மகளான நீ

 Maayaa  swaroopinee , Maheswariyumana  nee

Malayarasan  Makalaana nee

 Oh Goddess  with form of illusion, You are wife  of Great  Shiva, and daughter of king of mountains

 

3..தாயே மீனாட்சி நீ சற்குணவல்லி நீ தயாநிதி விசாலாட்சியும் நீயே!

Thaaye  Meenakshi  , nee sarguna valli, Nee  Dhaya nidhi  Visalakshiyum neeye

Oh Mother Meenakshi, you are creeper of good qualities, you are treasure  of mercy and you are  also goddess of Broad  eyes

 

4.தாரணியில் பெயர் பெற்ற பெரிய நாயகியும்‌ நீ சரவணனை ஈன்றவளும் நீ

Daariniyil peyar pethra, periya  naayakiyum nee, Saravanai  eendravalum nee

You are the great leader  who  gained great name in this world, you  are also mother of Lord Subrahamanya

5.பேய்களுடன் ஆடி நீ அத்தனிட பாகமதில்

பேறு பெற வளர்ந்தவளும் நீ

Peikaludan aadi  nee  athan ida bagamathil peru pera valarnthavalum nee

After dancing  with ghosts, You grew as   the left side  of good  due to  your luck

 

6.ப்ரணவ சொரூபி நீ ப்ரஸன்னவல்லி நீ பிரிய உண்ணாமுலையும் நீ

Pranava  SWaroopi nee , prasanna  valli ne , Priya   Unnamulayum nee

You have form of OM, you are the creeper with pleasant looks, you are the  dear Unna mulai(Godess of THiruvannamalai meaning , she whose breasts  have not been sucked)

 

7.ஆயி மகமாயி நீ ஆனந்தவல்லி நீ அகிலாண்டவல்லி நீயே!

AAyee , mahamaayi  nee, Anandavallli nee , Akhilandavalli  neeye

You  are the mother, the great enchantrss, you are also the creeper who ruled the universe

 

8.அழகான காஞ்சியில் புகழாக வாழ்ந்திடும் அம்மை காமாட்சி உமையே!
