കൊട്ടും വേണം കുരവേം വേണം
കുട്ടികളൊക്കെ കൂടേണം
Venna kothiyan Unni kannannu ,innu aanu athre pirannalu
Kottum venam, kueavem venam
Kuttikal okke koodenam
To the butter mad baby Krishna , It seems today is his birthday
Drum are needed , joyous shout is neded
All children should assemble
പാട്ടും വേണം പദവും വേണം
ആട്ടം കൃഷ്ണൻ്ആടേണം
കൊടികൾ തോരണം വീഥികളാകെ
ഉത്സവമേളമൊരുക്കേണം
Paattum venam , padhavum venam
Attam Krishnan aadenam
Kodikal thoranam veedikal aage
Uthsava melam orukkenam
Song should be there, dance steps should be there
The dance , the Krishna should dance
Flags should be there , festoons should be there
We have to arrange for festival drums
സദ്യയൊരുക്കാം നാലും വയ്ക്കാം
പാലും പഴവും പ്രഥമന്നും
രാവിലെ മലരിൽ നിന്നു തുടങ്ങി
പല പല ഭോജ്യം നേദിക്കാം
SAdhya orukkam, naalum veykkam

Ithu poal amrutham verilla
Appam , adayum koode venam
Athazhathinnu nirbandham
Kadali fruit and butter, To the little boy
There is no nectar like that
Jaggery puff(Appam) , thickened sweet dosa(Ada) are needed

നാമജപത്താൽ മുഖരിതമാട്ടെ
ഹൃത്തും ക്ഷേത്രവുമൊരുപോലെ
ഇന്നാണത്രേ പിറന്നാള്
ഉണ്ണിക്കണ്ണന് തിരുനാള്
Nama japathaal mukharitham aakatte
Hruthum kshethravum oru poale
Innu aanaathre pinannal
Unni kannannu Thiru naal
By chanting of his name , let it be filled
Our heart and the temple , to same extent
It seems his birthday is today
For Baby Krishna , the divine day
