   (this is the prayer addressed to Lord Vishnu   who is euologised by   the eight lettered manthra, Om  Narayana Nama. )

1.Krishnambuja nethra Krishnaa , nruhare , Padmanabha,

Krishnachyutha, krupanaasraya, Karunamrutha  Jaladhe ,

Krishnananda jaya  Govinda jagadeeswara Krishna  Mukunda,

Ashtakshara pari keerthana   bhagwan   Bhava Saranam

1,I surrender  to the God  who is worshipped  by singing the eight lettered  chant,

Who has eyes like the black lotus, who is Lord Narasimha  , Who is Padmanabha,

Who is Krishna, who is Achyutha, who is indebted to those  dependent on him  , Who is  ocean of nectar of mercy,

Who is the joyful Krishna , Who is victorious Govinda, Who is God of universe , who is  Krishna and who is Mukunda

2.Nrayana  ,Nalinekshana, Narakardhana, Murali-,

Nadamrutha tharalee krutha, naga jangama vithathe,

Nana jana hrudhayambuja nilayachyutha vishno,

2,I surrender  to the God  who is worshipped  by singing the eight lettered  chant,

Who is Narayana, Who is having lotus like eyes, who used   to melt  us,

By his music of the flute, Who spread  out like a moving  mountain,

Who is achyutha   who lives in the lotus like heart  of many  different people and who is Vishnu.

3.Athimohana  sarasiruha dala komala nayana,

Athasee  kusuma   sushama dharaa, parimoshana  nipuna,

Athi seethala   karunamrutha vivaseekrutha   hrudaya,

3,I surrender  to the God  who is worshipped  by singing the eight lettered  chant,

Who is very pretty with beautiful eyes resembling   the leaves  of lotus plant,

Who wears the pretty flowers  of Athasi plant  , who is expert in stealing,

And who has    very cool  heart filled   with nectar  of mercy  which makes us  helpless.

4.Kamalakara  para laalitha kamalanvitha kamalodhara  sushama,

Parimelitha charanambuja yugalaanatha  bhuvana,

SAmalayutha viphalikrutha kusalamrutha charitha,

4,I surrender  to the God  who is worshipped  by singing the eight lettered  chant,

Who  holds  a lotus in his hand   , who is followed by the divine  Lalitha   and Goddess  Lakshmiand is the pretty one   with lotus flower,

Who has the pair of  sweet scented   feet and who is praised  by the entire  world,

Who makes harms meaningless  and has  a   happy and deathless  history.

5.KaLa bhashana  , chala bhooshana, mathi Dhooshana harana,

Vidhi naipuna   vishameekruthajana duraga nruhare  ,

Helakrutha  haalaa madha , neelambara  sahaja,

Who talks lispingly , to whom peace is the ornament  , who destroyed those  who despised  devotion,

Who  gave ability to Lord Brahma, who is  the man lion  responsible for driving away   evil people  ,

Who was engaged in amorous sport  , who is exited  as if by liquor   and  Who wore blue   silk.

6.Leelakrutha  hey  vama mahesa   jana  subhaga,

Mandhara  sumandhira vara, Thulasi vana maalaa,

Mandhee krutha Madhu kaidabha, madhanopama sushamaa,

Oh  great Vama pureswara   who plays sports, who  is handsome   to people  ,

Who is   in the  heavenly blessed temples, who wears forest  garland of thulasi leaves,

Who slowed down Madhu and Kaidabha,and  who  is the  one resembling cupid.

7,Indhindhira varnaa , kundalandholitha  karna,

Vrundavana  vasaa  , pasu vrundavana   sheela ,

Vrundharaka, Vrundarchitha  Padambhuja Vishno,

Who is the colour of bees , Who has hanging  shining globes   on his ears,

Who lives in Vrundhavana, Who is habituated  with cows of Brindavan,

Who is the chief  , and Who is lord Vishnu whose   feet is worshipped  by crowds.

8.Vamalayavasaa  drutha Hemngadha   Vibhavaa,

Bhamaa kuchakalasarchitha, Damodhara   devaa,

Somabharanaa aaswadhitha   namamrutha  vishno.

Who lives in the temple at Vama puri, who is rich looking wearing the golden dress .

Who worships   the breasts  of SAthyabhama , Who is  God Damodhara  ,

Who  is   liked by shiva who wears   the moon   and Lord Vishnu whose  name is nectar.
