കോ നാമ ദേശഃ കാ ജാതിഃ
പ്രവൃത്തിഃ കാ കിയദ്വയഃ
ഇത്യാദി വാദോപരതിര്‍ -
യസ്യ തസ്യൈവ നിര്‍വൃതിഃ 1

Ko nama , desa , kaa jathi,

Pravruthi kp  kiya dwaya,

Ithyadhi  vadho paratheer,

Yasya thasyaiva nirvruthi

What is your name , native place  , caste,

Profession, How  old are you?

During  such    conversations,

Did  he by these attain  bliss

ആഗച്ഛ ഗച്ഛ മാ ഗച്ഛ
പ്രവിശ ക്വ നു ഗച്ഛസി
ഇത്യാദി വാദോപരതിര്‍ -
യസ്യ തസ്യൈവ നിര്‍വൃതിഃ 2

AAgascha, gacha  magaschsa,

Pravisa kwa nu gachasi,

Ithyadhi  vadho paratheer,

Yasya thasyaiva nirvruthi

Please come  go, do not go,

Enter, where are  you going,

During  such    conversations,

Did he   by these   attain bliss

ക്വ യാസ്യാസി കദാऽऽയാതഃ
കുത ആയാസി കോऽऽസി വൈ
ഇത്യാദി വാദോപരതിര്‍ -
യസ്യ തസ്യൈവ നിര്‍വൃതിഃ 3

Kwayaa syaasi  kadhaayaatha,

Kutha  aayaasi koaasi vai
Ithyadhi  vadho paratheer,

Yasya thasyaiva nirvruthi

Departing to where  , when you have come,

Where are you going, who are you,

During  such    conversations,

Did he   by these   attain bliss

അഹം ത്വം സോയऽമന്തര്‍ഹി
ബഹിരസ്തി ന വാസ്തി വാ
ഇത്യാദി വാദോപരതിര്‍ -
യസ്യ തസ്യൈവ നിര്‍വൃതിഃ 4

Aham thwam  soyamantharhi,

Bahirasmi  na vaasthi vaa,

Ithyadhi  vadho paratheer,

Yasya thasyaiva nirvruthi

I , you  , he , this one,

Am I outsideor inside  Am I present or absent,

During  such    conversations,

Did he   by these   attain bliss

ജ്ഞാതജ്ഞാതസമഃ സ്വാന്യ-
ഭേദശൂന്യഃ കുതോ ഭിദാ
ഇത്യാദി വാദോപരതിര്‍ -
യസ്യ തസ്യൈവ നിര്‍വൃതിഃ 5

Jnatha, ajanatha samaswanya,

Bedha soonya   kuthobhidhaa

Ithyadhi  vadho paratheer,

Yasya thasyaiva nirvruthi

Known  or unknown, equal or not,

Does not bother about differences and is free of such differences,

During  such    conversations,

Did he   by these   attain bliss
