അമ്മേ അമ്മേ പുതുക്കോട്ടമ്മേ

അന്നപൂർണേശ്വരി ദേവി അമ്മേ

ആശ്ചര്യം നീയേ ആനന്ദ  രൂപിണി

അഭയം  തരണേ ജഗധീശ്വരിയെ       (അമ്മേ   )

 

Amme, amme, puthukottamme

Annapurneswari   devi  amme

AAscharyam  neeye  ananda  roopini

Abhayam    tharane  jagadeeswariye (Amme)

 

Oh mother, Oh mother , Oh mother  of Puthucode,

Oh mother  Annapurneswari

You are wonder, she who has a form of joy

Oh goddess of universe, grant  me  protection(oh mother

 

അഴൽ  കത്തിക്കാനുള്ള  കോടി വസ്ത്രമായോ

അർച്ചന പൂക്കളിൽ  തുളസി ദളമായോ

എന്ടെ  ജനമാം  തീരാൻ  അനുവദിക്കൂ ദേവി

സർവേശ്വരി  അമ്മേ  അനുഗ്രഹിക്കൂ    (അമ്മേ)

 

Azhal  kathikkanulla   kodi vasthramaayo

Archana  pookkalil   thulasi   dalamaayo

Yende  janmam theeraan   anuvadhikku   devi

SArveswari   amme  Anugrahikku (amme)

 

Either as the  new cloth   to born as azhal* before you,

Or as leaf  of THulasi  among the flowers of worship,

Oh goddess  please allow  my life to  get  over,

Oh  goddess  of all, oh mother  bless me (Oh mother)

 

തിരു മധുരത്തിലേ  കദളി പഴമായോ

തിരു നെറ്റിയിൽ  കുംകുമമായോ

എന്ടെ ജന്മം  തീരാൻ  അനുവദിക്കൂ  അമ്മേ

സർവേശ്വരി  അമ്മേ  അനുഗ്രഹിക്കൂ    (അമ്മേ)

 

Thiru madhurathile  kadali  pazhamaayo,

Thiru  nethiyil  kumkumamaayo,

Yende  janmam theeraan   anuvadhikku   devi

SArveswari   amme  Anugrahikku (amme)

 

As the kadali banana   in the trimadhura offering,

Or as the kumkum    that is on your divine  forehead,

Oh goddess  please allow  my life to  get  over,

Oh  goddess  of all, oh mother  bless me (Oh mother)

 

*azhal – an offering in puthucode where  a new cloth  is burnt  before Vana Durga
