विघ्नेश विघ्नचयखण्डननामधेय 

श्रीशंकरात्मज सुराधिपवन्द्यपाद ।

दुर्गामहाव्रतफलाखिलमङ्गलात्मन्

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ १ ॥

 

Vighnesa  , Vighna chaya Khandana  Namadeya

Sri Sankarathmaja, Suradhipa Vandhya Padha

Durgaa Maha vrutha Phala Akhila Mangalathman

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

Oh God of obstacles, whose name is one who cuts off the group of obstacles

The son of Lord Shiva whose feet is saluted  by Indra  king of devas

Who is the complete soul of the result of penance to Durga

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

सत्पद्मरागमणिवर्णशरीरकान्तिः 

श्रीसिद्धिबुद्धिपरिचर्चितकुङ्कुमश्रीः ।

दक्षस्तने वलयितातिमनोज्ञशुण्डो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ २ ॥

 

Sad padma raga mani varna   Sareera kanthi

Sri  Sidhi, Budhi praicharchitha  Kumkumasri

Dakshasthenavalayithathi manojna sundo

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

You Have the colour and luster of the good gem Padma Raga,

Surrounded by Sidhi and Budhi, you shine in the luster of their kumkum

On your right breast  is folded    for your trunk in an attractive manner,

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

पाशाङ्कुशाब्जपरशूंश्र्च दधच्चतुर्भिर्दोर्भिश्र्च 

शोणकुसुमस्त्रगुमाङ्गजातः ।

सिन्दूरशोभितललाटविधुप्रकाशो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ३ ॥   

 

Pasankusabhja parasumscha dadaschathurbhidhorbhischa

Sona kusumasthragumanga jathaa

Sindhoora   Sobhitha lalata vidhu prakaso

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

You keep in your four hands rope , goad , axe and lotis flower

You limbs  are decorated   by red     coloured garland,

And with the kumkum of Uma  on  forhead you shine like moon

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

कार्येषु विघ्नचयभीतविरञ्चिमुख्यैः 

सम्पूजितः सुरवरैरपि मोदकाद्यैः ।

सर्वेषु च प्रथममेव सुरेषु पूज्यो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ४ ॥

 

Karyeshu   vighna chaya bheetha  virincha mukhyai

SAmpoojitha  Suravarapi Modhakadhyai

SArveshu cha  pradhamameva sureshu poojyo,

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

Fearing the crowd of obstacles    would stop their activity

The Brahma and other devas worship you  offering Modhaka  ,

And being greater   than all, you are worshipped by devas,

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

शीघ्राञ्चनस्खलनतुङ्गरवोर्ध्वकण्ठ 

स्थूलेन्दुरुद्रगणहासितदेवसङ्घः ।

शूर्पश्रुतिश्र्च पृथुवर्तुलङ्गतुन्दो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ५ ॥ 

 

Seegranchanaskalana thunga ravordhva kanta

Sthoolendhu  rudra gaba haasitha deva sanga

Soorpa sruthischaprathuvarthulanga thuntho,

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

Due to your speedy movement,  very high sounding voice

Very fat body, you make moon and other   Rudra ganas laugh

You have  winnow like ears  and very long   trunk,

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

यज्ञोपवीतपदलम्भितनागराजो 

मासादिपुण्यददृशीकृतऋक्षराजः ।

भक्ताभयप्रद दयालय विघ्नराज 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ६ ॥ 

 

Yajnopaveetha pada lambitha  Nagarajo

Masaadhi  punya  dadarsi krutha ruksha raja

Bhakthabhaya pradha dayalaya  Vighna Raja

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

You have given the king of snakes  , the place of your sacred thread

You  wear the crescent moon on your head and grant blessing to devotees

You are king of obstacles, the temple of mercy  granting protection to devotees

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

सद्रत्नसारततिराजितसत्किरीटः 

कौस्तुम्भचारुवसनद्वय ऊर्जितश्रीः ।

सर्वत्र मङ्गलकरस्मरणप्रतापो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ७ ॥

 

Sadrathna sarathathi rajitha sath kireeta

Kausthmbha chaaru vasana dhavaya oorjitha sri

SArvathra mangala kara smarana  prathapo

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

Your great crown  shines  in the essence  of great gems

And you wear two pretty cloths   of saffron colour

And everywhere  you are famous for all round auspiciousness

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

देवान्तकाद्यसुरभीतसुरार्तिहर्ता 

विज्ञानबोधनवरेण तमोऽपहर्ता ।

आनन्दितत्रिभुवनेश कुमारबन्धो 

विघ्नं ममापहर सिद्धिविनायक त्वम् ॥ ८ ॥ 

 

DEvathakaadhya sura bheetha  asurathi harthaa

Vijnana bodhana  varena thamopaharthaa

Aanandhitha tribhuvanesa kumara  bandho

Vighnam  Mamapahara Sidhi Vinayaka thwam

 

HE kills   the asuras   who are  enemies  of devas  whom they are scared

He removes darkness of ignorance  by teaching of knowledge

And he is related to Kumara  who makes king of three worlds happy,

You please remove all my obstacles, Oh Sidhi vinayaka

 

॥ इति श्रीमुद्गलपुराणे श्रीसिद्धिविनायक स्तोत्रम् सम्पूर्णम् ॥

॥ श्रीसिद्धिविनायकार्पणमस्तु ॥

 

Ithi   Sri Mudgala  purane sri Sidhi vinayaka   stotram Sampoornam

Sri Sidhi vinayaka   arpanamasthu

 

Thus ends prayer to Sidhi Vinayaka  occurring in mUdhgala purana
