പീലിച്ചുരുള്‍മുടിയും നീലത്തിരുവുടലും
ഫാലത്തൊടുകുറിയും താണുതൊഴുന്നേന്‍

Kesadhi padham thozhunen,

Peeli churul mudiyum , neela thiru udalum

Phala  thodu kuriyum Thanu thozhunnen

 

Oh Kesava, I salute you from  your head  to the feet
I salute you from hair on your head  to the feet

Thecurled hair with peacock feather, the blue    divine body

The mark put on your  forehead, I bent low  and salute you

മകരകുണ്ഡലമിട്ട മലര്‍ക്കാത് തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
കുടിലകുന്തളം പാറും കുളുര്‍നെറ്റി തൊഴുന്നേന്‍ 
കരുണതന്‍ കടലായ കടമിഴി തൊഴുന്നേന്‍ 
അരുണകിരണമണി മുഖപദ്‌മം തൊഴുന്നേന്‍ 

 

Makara  kundalamitta malar  kathu  thozhunnen

Kutila  Kunthalam  paarum  kulir  netthi thozhunnen

Karuna than  kadalaya kadamizi thozhunnen

Aruna  kirana  mani mukha padhmam  thozhunnen

 

I salute  your flower like ears with   fish like  ear globes

I salute  your  cool forehead where the  curly hair  wafts

I salute your end of the eye which is  the ocean of mercy

I salute  your lotus like face which wears  the   the beam of rising sun

 

കളവേണുവണിയുന്ന കരതലം തൊഴുന്നേന്‍ 
കൌസ്‌തുഭം തിളങ്ങുന്ന കളകണ്ഠം തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
വനമാല മയങ്ങുന്ന മണിമാറ് തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
കനക കങ്കണമിട്ട കൈത്തണ്ട തൊഴുന്നേന്‍

 

Kala  venuvaniyunna  kala thalam thozhunnen

Kausthubham   thilangunna Mani  maaru  Thozhunnen

Vana mala mayangunna  mani  maaru  thozhunnen

Kanaka kankanamitta   kai thandu  Thozhunnen

 

I salute your palm which holds the sweet  flute

I salute your gem like  chest where  Kausthubha  is worn

I salute    the wrist  of your hand wearing golden bangle

 

അരയിലെ മഞ്ഞപ്പട്ടുടയാട തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
അണിമുത്തു കിലുങ്ങുന്നോരരഞ്ഞാണം തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
കനകച്ചിലങ്ക തുള്ളും കാല്‍ത്തളിര്‍ തൊഴുന്നേന്‍
കരിമുകില്‍ വര്‍ണ്ണനെ അടിമുടി തൊഴുന്നേന്‍

Arayile  manja  pattudayaada  thozhunnen

Ani muthu  kilungunnoru aranjaanam thozhuneen

Kanaka chilanga thullum Kal  thalir  thozhunnen

Kari mukhil  varnane, adi mudi  thozhunnen

 

I salute the yellow silk  tied  to your waist

I salute your waist belt where  the pearls move hither  and thither

I salute your young lef where the golden anklets jump up and down

I salute the one with colour  of black cloud from feet to head
