Jo naam ka pratap hai, tumhe yaad ho ke na yaad ho

, That name  which  has great power whether   you remember or not

 

 

Jab daitya chabuk mariya prahlad naam uchariya

Nakh se asura ko bidariya, tumhe yaad ho ke na yaad ho 1

 

When the  Asura unfolded the whip, Prahladha  chanted  that name

He killed  the Asura  using his claw, whether  you remember or not

 

 

Dhruv ko pita nikala diya, hari naam main man la diya

Use achal daam dila diya, tumhe yaad ho ke na yaad ho 2

 

Dhruva  was  thrown out  by his fatherHe took the name  of Hari  in his mind

He was  given a permanent  place, whether  you remember  or not

 

Gajaraja pe vipida padi, man mein japa jo Hari Hari

Graha maar ke mukti karee, tumhe yaad ho ken a yaad ho 3

जब दैत्य चाबुक मारिया प्रह्लाद नाम उचारिया ।
नख से असुर को बिदारिया तुमे याद होके न याद हो ॥ १ ॥
ध्रुव को पिता निकला दिया हरिनाम में मन लादिया ।
उसे अचल धाम दिला दिया तुमे याद होके न याद हो ॥ २ ॥
गजराज पे विपदा पडी मन में जपा जो हरि हरि ।
ग्रह मारके मुकति करी तुमे याद होके न याद हो ॥ ३ ॥
द्रुपदी कि लाज उतारिया जब कृष्ण कृष्ण पुकारिया ।
ब्रम्‍हानंद चीर वधारिया तुमे याद होके न याद हो ॥ ४॥
