(Gunasheelam Vishnu temple is  a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu  located 20 km  from Trichy, Tamil Nadu on the banks of river Cauvery. The visit to the temple  is believed to be  a curative to the  mentally  challenged, who are taken to temple and kept in the temple  premises for 48 days.At the end of 48 days it is believed  that their illness is cured by  the grace of presiding deity Prasanna venkitachalapathi.The temple has set up mental health  rehabilitation centre that has the official stamp of the  Tamil nadu Govt licence, the first of its kind in Tamilnadu

Sanhya kanyaa thataavaasa madhithya bhasam

He who lives  in shores of  daughter  of mountain, who has  shine like  Sun God

1.Sambrantha  chithasya vaidhyam

Samyag  aaradhya meedayam, surendraadhi mrugyam

Sri Bhoomi neelaa  subhaghyam

Veda Vedantha vedhyam  vinirdhrutha  daithyam

Sri Srinivasam  Bhajeham

 

The daughter  of  mind  which is mad

Who is worshipped  by every one, who is searched  by devas and Indra

Who is great luck of goddess  Lakshmi , Bhoomi devvi and neela devi

Who is well known to Vedas  and Vedanthas and who destroyed   the cruel asuras

I sing about  that  Srinivasa

 

2,Gangopambhodhi  abhishiktham

Jnana varmaa abhidrishtam, gavaam  ksheera siktham

Gandharva ghaana  athi thushtam

Gopa  jushtam garuth math susamrava  thushtam

Sri Srinivasam Bhajeham

 

He who is anointed  by water of Cauvery  equal to Ganga

He who was located by  king  Jnana varma, He who in anointed by  cow’s milk

He who becomes  very contented  by the song of Gandharwas

He who makes gopas happy, Who becomes happy hearing  the auspicious sound of Garuda

3.Padhmapradhavathya  rogi

Janma moorkopi vagmi bhavathyasya bhakthyaa

Andhopipasyathyananda

Puthrakamo apyavapnothi puthram sugaathram

Sri Srinivasam Bhajeham

 

Due To power of this good  disesed one  gets cured

Those who are dumb from birth speak due to devotion to him

Those  who are blind starts  seeing

And those  who desire  for sons, gets well built son

I  sing  about  that Srinivasa

 

4.Dhalbhyasya  sishyena drishtam

Deva rajathi  devai mudhaa  sadhu  jushtam]

Vedhoktha mannabhigushtam

Nithya  thushtam vinirdhootha bhoothaadhi cheshtam

Sri Srinivasam Bhajeham

He who was found out by disciple of sage  Dhalbhya

He who is worshipped  with joy by Indra and other devas

He who is worshipped well bymanthras of veda

He who is always happy, he who removes effect of Bhoothas and devils

5.Vaathadhi dathu prakopam

Papa rogaadhi vegam samunmoolya mantham

Kamyarthadham Madhavam tham

Dhivya malyadhibhooshadh viseshaijwarlantham

Sri   srinivasam BHajeham

 

He who uproots  Diseases  due to gas  pitha and dathu,

And  those due to sins and brings them to an end

The Madhava  who grants you all the things,

Who is decorated with divine garlands and who shines

6.Sri Venkatesasya thushtyai

Dheekshithaa  Anantha ramena bhakthyaa praneetham

Stotram   padethyasthu nithyam

Thasya  sarvartham sidi bhavedhaiva noonam

 

Seeking the satisfaction of Lord Vekaresa,

This was composed  with devotion by Anantha Rama Deekshithar
