Bhagawan Ramana’s Eka sloki

Bhagawan Ramana’s  Eka sloki

Compiled  by

P.R,Ramachander

In 1915 , when Ramana Maharshi was living in Skandashram, a young devotee,

Called Jagadhiswara Shastri  wrote “Hrudaya  kuhara madyhe “ and went out   and when he came back Bhagawan Ramana  had completed it as

Hrudaya  Kuhara  madhye Kevalam  Brahma mathram

Hyahamahamithi sakshath athma roopena  bhathi

Hridi visha  manasa svam chinvata majjatha  vaa

Pravana chalana rodhat athmavishto  bhavantham

This was later  engraved  in his new hall in golden

Sanskrit letters

I read it and translated it as:-

In the middle of the hole of the heart  there  shines only  one Brahmam

Saying always , “I am ,I am , just like  the form of the soul

By  diving deep in to the mind  if you search and go further  deep

You can keep breath under check and be one  who has realised  the soul
