അസുരരെ മോഹിപ്പിച്ചമൃതിങ്ങു മേടിച്ചി-

ട്ടമരകൾക്കായ് കൊടുത്തരുളുവാനായ്

ഒരു പെണ്ണിൻവടിവാണ്ട വരിവണ്ടിൻവര്‍ണ്ണന്റെ

സുരുചിരരൂപത്തെക്കാണ്മാനായി

കാലാരി വേഗേന ശൈലാത്മജയോടും

പാലാഴിതന്നിലെഴുന്നരുളി

Asurare  mohipichu amruthingu medichittu

Amarakkalkkai koduthu aruluvaanai

Oru pennu  vadivaanda varivandin varnande

Suruchira  roopathe  kaanmaanaayi

Kaalaari  vegena  sailathmajayodum

Paalaazhi thannil  yezhunnelli

To entice  the asuras  and to get the Nectar

And  give  it  to the  devas

A form   with the  colour  of  the  black  beetle was  seen,

And  to see  tht  pretty form

Lord Shiva  the killer of Yama came  fast  with daughter  of Mountain,

And reached  the  ocean  of milk

Seeing the killer  of Manmatha , Narayana

Welcomed  him , held  his hand

And with joy talked  about several things

And reached  his seat of Adhi sesha

ബന്ധം വരുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടന്തകവൈരി ത-

ന്നന്തര്‍ഗ്ഗതമങ്ങറിയിച്ചപ്പോൾ

അരുതെന്നുമാമെന്നുമൊന്നുമരുളാതെ

തരസാ മറഞ്ഞിതു ദാമോദരൻ

Bandham varuthi kondu anthaka  vairi

Than anthargatham ariyichappol

Arutheennum aam yennum onnum aruraalaathe

Tharasa  maranjithu  Damodaran

After  developing relation  when enemy  of Yama

Told what  is in his  mind

Without  telling  either  yes or no

Suddenly  Damodhara  disappeared

ഇരുളുനിറംപൂണ്ട ചുരുളുന്ന കൂന്തലും

തരളകടാക്ഷവും പുഞ്ചിരിയും

തളരും കൊടിനട്ടരോമാവലി

അണികങ്കണാവലിരണിതം പുലമ്പവേ

മണികന്ദുകംകൊണ്ടു കേളിയാടി

ചൊഴിയും പ്രമോദേന കിഴിയുന്ന നീവിയ-

ങ്ങൊഴിയുന്ന കൈകൊണ്ടു താങ്ങി മെല്ലെ

അതികോമളാംഗി താനരികെ വരുന്നേരം

മലർബാണവൈരി മതിമറന്നു

Athi ner mukhiya aaa  aaramathil

Irulu niram poonda churulunna  koonthalum

Tharala kadakshavum  Punchiriyum

Valarum  kulir mula  kalarum  kanam kondu

THalarum  kodi  natta  romaavali

ANi kankanavali ranitham  Pulambave

Mani kandhukam  kondu  keliyaadi

Chozhiyum  pramodhena kizhiyunna, neviyanbu

Ozhiyunna kaikondu thaangi melle

Athi komalaangi than arike  varunneram

Malar Bana  vairi  mathi marannu

At that  time was seen 

A very straight  faced  one  in that home

With curling  hair  with dark colour

With   glance  moving here  and there with a smile

With growing cool breasts  bending  due to weight

With row of hairs similar  to bent  climbing plant

Wearing gold ornaments including  bangles  which were making  sound

Increased  her  beauty  which  played there

With  hands  slightly moving  promoting love,

She  slowly  caressed  and held slowly

When that  very pretty  one came near him

The enemy of manmatha who used flower  arrows forgot himself

പിന്നാലേ ചെന്നു പുണർന്നു പുണർന്നപ്പോൾ

വന്നു പിറന്നോരാരോമലുണ്ണി!

Pinnale  chennu punarnnu  punarnnappol

Vannu  pirannu  oru aaromal  unni

When he went behind  and Caressed her

One very dear  pretty  child was  born  

ശിവം മേ ഭവിക്കേണം തവ സേവയാ മമ

Kururamma  was a childless widow, known for her religious devotion. Kururamma features in various legends associated with the Guruvayoor Temple. She was also associated with watching her neighbour's child play like little Krishna and regarded him to have a similar behaviour an traits like him.

To my knowledgeshe was not a writer  .But in https://thaalilakkam.in/page/5840 , I found a poem written by her ,It has  many lines  in common with  Poonthanam’s Vishnu  Stotram (https://stotrarathna.blogspot.com/2019/06/vishnu-stotram-of-poonthanam.html )

Which I  similar  to the  black  cloud

I would like to see your  bent  eye brows

Which has won over  the  bow  of love god

കാർപൂണ്ടീടും കരുണാലോലം
ലോചനയുഗളം കാണാകേണം

 

Kaar  poondidum  kaurnaa  lolam

Lochana  yugalam  Kaanaakenam

 

I would  like  to see  your  twin eyes

Which  is tinged  with blak  and moving  due to  mercy

തിലപുഷ്പശ്രീ തിരതല്ലീടും
തിരുനാസികയും കാണാകേണം

 

THila  pushpa  sree  thira  thalleedum

Thiru  nasikayum  Kaanaakenam

 

I would like to see your pretty nose,

Which is given by  the  flower of seasame

വിലസൽകാന്തി കലര്‍ന്നുകളിക്കും

Makara  kaathina   kaanaakenam

 

I would  like  to see your fish like  twin ears

Which plays  in mixed  spreading light

മരതകവിരചിതദര്‍പ്പണദര്‍പ്പം
കവരും കവിളിണ കാണാകേണം

 

Marakatha  virachitha darppana Dharppam

Kavarum  Kavil ina  kaanaakenam

 

I would  like to see your attractive twin cheeks

Which has  the  pride of mirror composed by emeralds

മധുരാധരമാം മലരിൽ വിരിഞ്ഞൊരു
മൃദുലസ്മിതരുചി കാണാകേണം

 

Madhura adharamaam malaril  virinjoru

Mrudhala  smitha  ruchi kaanaakenam

 

I would like to see the taste of your  soft laugh

Which has  opened in the  flower of your sweet  lips

മുത്തിന്നധികം ഖേദം നല്കും
ദന്താവലിയും കാണാകേണം

 

Muthinnadhikam  kedham  nalkum

Dandhavaliyum kaanaakenam

 

I would  like  to see  the  row of your teeth

Which  gives  more sorrow  to the pearls

പൂര്‍ണ്ണനിശാകരമണ്ഡലരമ്യത
ചേര്‍ന്ന മുഖാബ്ജം കാണാകേണം

 

Poorna nisakara  mandala  ramyatha

Chernna  mukhabhjam kaanaakenam

 

I would like  to see  his  lotus  lke  facr,

Which looks like the beauty of the full moon

കണ്ടാൽ കണ്ണിനു കൌതുകമേറും

Which increases  our pleasure  when we see it

Which moves with his moving scented  garlnds

I would like o see his four divine hands,

Which punishes and looks  after the world

The conch, Chakra , mace and  the lotus  flower

Sri Vathsam mama  kaanakenam

 

I would  like  to see  your sri vathsa

Which  can be seen on his  soft  divine body

കോമളമാകിന രീതിയിൽ മേവും
രോമാവലിയും കാണാകേണം

 

Komalamaayoru  reethiyil mevum

Romavaliyum  Kaanaakenam

 

I would like  to see  his  row of hairs

Which is on him in a  pretty  manner

Which is  making fun of  the stem of Kadali Banana

Nisthula  veeryam  Kaanakenam

 

I would  like  to see the  incomparable  Valor

Which moved  Hasthinapure by digging

വെണ്ണകവര്‍ന്നു നടന്നൊരു ബാലനെ

Oh lord of heaven , I would like to see

The boy  who went  on stealing  butter

കലിയുടെ ദുരിതവിനാശകനായൊരു

Sookshmaakaram  Kaanakenam

 

I  would like to see your micro form,

When I am awake, dreaming or sleeping
