Maha  Vishnu  Prayer

നമസ്തുഭ്യം ഭഗവതേ

വാസുദേവായ ധീമഹി ।

പ്രദ്യുമ്നനായാനിരുദ്ധായ

നമഃ സങ്കർഷണായ ച ॥

 

Namasthubhyam Bhagawathe

Vasudevaya  deemahi

Pradhymnaaya  nirudhaaya

Nama  sankarshanaya  cha

 

I salute  the God

Let  Vasudeva  give me higher  intellect

Let  Pradhyumna  who is separate

And salute also to  the God who unites

 

 

നമോ വിജ്ഞാനമാത്രായ

പരമാനന്ദമൂർത്തയേ ।

ആത്മാരാമായ ശാന്തായ

നിവൃത്തദ്വൈതദൃഷ്ടയേ ॥

 

Namo Vijana maathraaya

Paramaananda  moorthaye

Athmaaramaya santhaaya

Nivrutha  dwaitha  drushtaye

 

Salutations  to him who is only knowleddge

The  form  which  is  divine  joy

He  who entertains  himself , who  is peaceful

He who surrounds  everything  and who is  seen as two

തസ്മാത്തുഭ്യം നമോ നമഃ ॥

ഹൃഷീകേശായ മഹതേ

നമസ്തേയനന്തമൂർത്തയേ ॥

 

Thwad roopaani  cha  sarvaani

Thasthath  thubhyam  namo nama

Hrishikesaya  mahathe

Namasthe   Anantha moorthaye

 

All  your    different  form

Through  them I salute you

Oh great one  who is lord of all senses

I salute the god  who  is endless

 

യസ്മിന്നിദം യതഞ്ചൈതത്

തിഷ്ഠത്യപ്രതി ജായതേ ॥

മൃണ്മയീം വഹസി ക്ഷോണീം

തസ്മൈ തേ ബ്രഹ്മണേ നമഃ ॥

 

Yasmin idham yathainchathath

Thishathya  prathi  jaayathe

Mrinmayeem vahasi  kshoneem

Thasmai  they  Brahmane  nama

 

You who are that , which  is hidden in you

Exists  in   every  thing

And the earth lifts  everything that is made by you

And  salutation  to you   who  is brahman

 

യന്നസ്പൃശന്തി ന വിദുർ

മനോബുദ്ധീന്ദ്രിയാസവഃ ॥

അന്തർബഹിസ്ത‌്വം ചരതി

വ്യോമവത് തം നമാമ്യഹം ॥

 

Yannaspya santhina  vidhoor

Mano budhi indriyaa sava

Anthar  bahisthwam  charathi

Vyomavath tham Namamyaham

 

That  abode   which depresses ,

Is due to mind , brain and limbs

And that   travels  inside  and outside

And is  in heaven, My salutations

Who is  the great Purasha and great  lord of all beings

 

സകലസത്ത്വഭാവിവ്രീഡ-

നികരകമലരേണൂത്പല-

നിഭധർമാഖ്യവിദ്യയാ

ചരണാരവിന്ദയുഗള ॥

 

Sakala sathva bhavi  vreeda

Nikara kamala  renuthpalan

Ibha  dharmaakhyaa vidhyayaa

Charanara vindha yugala

 

That whichmakes all beings in future modest

The  blossom of group of lotus flowers

The knowledge of the dharma of the family

The  twin  divine  lotus  like feet

മാധവൻ തന്നുടെ മന്ദസ്‌മിതമതു

മമ ഹൃത്തിൽ ചൊരിയേണമെന്നുമെന്നും

മായയാൽ മൂടുന്ന മാനസം തന്നുള്ളിൽ

മായാത്ത ഭക്തി വളർത്തീടെണേ .....

Mama  hruthil  choriyenam yennum yennum

Just  like  the mango tree getting sun’srays

For living forever coated  with honey

The slow  smile  of  Madhava should

Be  poured  on my heart  forever

Inside  the mind covered  by illusion

Let the non erasable  devotion should grow

ഈരടി കേൾക്കേണം കാതിനുള്ളിൽ

ഈരെഴുലകിനും നാഥനായുള്ളോരു

ഇന്ദിരാനാഥനെ കൈതൊഴുന്നേൻ

ശ്രീകരമായൊരു ഭാവിയെനിക്കേകി

ശ്രീവല്ലഭാ എന്നും കാത്തിടെണേ.........

I salute  lord of Lakshmi  who is,

Krishnaa  , paavangalai  pokkidum  , Guruvayur  Krishnaa

 

I will tell you one thing , would  you hear it

Oh Krishnaa The Krishnaa of Guruvayur , who destroys sins

 

 

ஏனிந்த மௌனம், விளையாடாதே கிருஷ்ணா!

உன்னையே, நினைக்கும், இந்த ஏழையை பாரடா கிருஷ்ணா!

 

Yenintha  maunam  , Vilayaadaathe  Krishnaa

Unnaye  ninaikkum in the  ezhayai  paarada  Krishnaa

 

Why  this silence, do not  play  Oh Krishnaa

Oh Krishna  please see the poor one who is  thinking  only about you

 

வெண்ணையும், அவல், பொரி,சீரடையும் வைத்திருக்கேன்,

உன் குஞ்சு  காலடியில், தட்டி விடாமல், நீ சாப்பிடுடா கிருஷ்ணா!

 

Vennayum  , aval, poru cheeradayum vaithirikken

Un kunju kaaladiyil , thatti  vidaamal , nee saappidudaa  Krishnaa

 

I have kept butter , beaten rice , puffed rice  and good Adai

Before your baby feet, Without overturning it , please  eat it Krishnaa

 

கோகுல கிருஷ்ணா, ராதையுடன் நீ வருவாய், ஆனந்தமாய், இருவரும் பூஞ்சோலையில், ஆடி, பாடி மகிழ்வை, பார்த்திடுவேன் கிருஷ்ணா!

Pooncholayil  aadi paadi  magizhvai paarthiduven  Krishnaa

 

Oh Krishna  of Gokula,  you please  come with Radha, You  both,

With great joy sing and dance in the flower garden, I will see it oh Krishnaa

 

கோவிந்த நாம சங்கீர்த்தனம், கோவிந்தா!

என்றழைத்தால், தரிசனம் தருவாய்டா கிருஷ்ணா!

 

Govindha  naama  sangeerthannam , Govindhaa

Yendru  azhathaal darisanam  THaruvaayadaa , Krishnaa

 

Singing  name of Govinda, Oh Govinda

If I call like that , will you show yourselves to me, Oh  Krishnaa

 

 

கலியுகக் கண்ணா! கார்மேக வண்ணா!  நீ மாடுகளுடன் குழலூதி, இசையோடு  பாடி இடையனாய்,  காட்க்ஷி தருவாயோடா கிருஷ்ணா!
