ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ വസിക്കേണമേവരും.
കാണാകുന്ന ചരാചരജാതിയെ
നാണം കൈവിട്ടു കൂപ്പിസ്തുതിക്കണം.

പരുഷാദികളൊക്കെസ്സഹിച്ചുടൻ
സജ്ജനങ്ങളെക്കാണുന്ന നേരത്തു
ലജ്ജ കൂടാതെ വീണു നമിക്കണം.

പ്രാരബ്ധങ്ങളശേഷമൊഴിഞ്ഞിടും
വിധിച്ചീടുന്ന കർമ്മമൊടുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ
പതിച്ചീടുന്നു ദേഹമൊരേടത്ത്
കൊതിച്ചീടുന്ന ബ്രഹ്മത്തെക്കണ്ടിട്ടു
കുതിച്ചീടുന്നു ജീവനുമപ്പൊഴേ.

പാത്രമായില്ലയെന്നതുകൊണ്ടേതും
പരിതാപം മുഴുക്കേണ്ട തിരുനാമത്തിൻ
ദിവ്യ മാഹാത്മ്യം കേട്ടാലും!
