(This is a Sanskrit  prayer  addressed  to eight forms  of Goddess  Parvathi.

It is a Sanskrit prayer, where  the Malayalam stanza of prayer  of

Goddess  Chothanikkara  Bhagawathi  is added)

 

മഹാകാളി നമസ്തുഭ്യം

നമസ്തുഭ്യം സുരേശ്വരി

ഭദ്രകാളി നമസ്തുഭ്യം

നമസ്തുഭ്യം ദയാനിധേ

 

Mahakali namasthubhyam

Namasthubhyam  sureswari

Bhadrakali  namasthubhyam

Namasthubhyam   Dhayanidhe

 

I salute  The Mahakali

I salute  the goddess  of devas

I salute   the  Bhadrakli

I salute the treasure  of mercy

Bhakthabheeshta  pradhayini

 

Oh Brahmani , who has  the power  of Brahma

Who is  form  of Brahma’s power

Oh Goddess do good to me

Aiswaryam  dehi  mey Devi

Oh Vaishnavi who has Vishnu’s power

Who has    form of Vishnu’s power

Oh Kaumari  who has limbs of gold and diamond

Who is   the form of  Lord  Subrahamanya

അഭയം കുരുമേ ദേവി

Chamundi , karala  vadhane

Chanda  mundadhi  mardhani

Abhyam  kuru me Devi

Bhadre devi  namosthuthe

 

Oh Chamundi  who has a fierce face

She   who killed   Chanda   and Munda

Aroghyamdehi me  Devi

Sarva  Dukha   Haarini

 

Oh Goddess Varahi  who has  permanent power

Who killed   Darikasura

Oh Goddess  give me  health

Oh Goddess who destroys all  sorrow
