Paleya  malinyam, theendaathirikkan

Kala kedatethum varathirikkan

Kaalan varum neram Raksha  Labhippan

Kalam kalayaathe cholluka  Namam

 

For   dirt   not  to  reach you  while living

For    evil times   not to come

To get  protection   when God of death comes

Without   wasting time  , please  chant  the name

 

Bharyayo  bharthaavo  , makkalo  , sampatho,

Veerya parakrama  bhavangalo

Anthakan  yethumbol  jeevane  rakshippan

Naamiyaam    Sri Krishnan   yethi    cherum

 

The wife  , husband , children  , wealth

Your  valourous  adventurour moods

Are  only   for names  sake   for protecting  your sol,

When God  of death comes  but  Lord Krishna  will arrive

Only if lord of Guruvayur  is pleased

Your mind will become clear  and you  will get salvation

Would become   truth to him that  day

In the temple  of lord of Guruvayur,

Even if it is some place  far away,
