1,അഞ്ജാനത്തിൻ തിമിരം നീക്കി

വിഞ്ജാനത്തിൻ ദർശനമരുളി

കുടജാദ്രിയിൽ വാഴും ദേവീ

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചീടുന്നേൻ

 

Ajnathin   thimiram neekki,

Vikjnathin  Darsanam    aruli

Kutajdriyil vaazhum devi

Mookambikaye namichidunnen

 

Removing the cataract   of ignorance

Showing the looks of science

Oh Goddess  who lives  on Kodachadri

I salute  Mookambika

 

2.നശ്വരമായതിലമരും തൃഷ്ണ-

യനശ്വരമായതിലേക്കു തിരിക്കും

ശക്തിയിൽ ഭക്തിയുണർത്താൻ ദേവീ

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചീടുന്നേൻ

 

Naswaram aayathil amarum trishna

Anaswaramayathilekku  thirikkum

SAkthiyil, bakthi unarathaan  Devi

Mookambikaye  namichudunnen

 

The desire   to sit  on perished  things

Would  you   to deathlessness

To wake up devotion in  strength

I salute  goddess  Mookambika

 

3.ഇന്നലെയിന്നും വന്നതു പോലെ

ത്തന്നേ നാളെയുമെന്നോത്തുള്ളം

തെന്നിപ്പോവും ന്നേരം കാക്കാൻ

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചിടുന്നേൻ

 

Innaleyinnum   vannathu  poale

Thanne naaleyum   yennothu  ullam

Thenni povum  neram kaakkan

Mookambikaye namichidunnen

 

Like   yesterday   and today came

Tomorrow also will come says our mind

The  time  would amble , for protecting it

4.കണ്ടവയെല്ലാം നേരെന്നോർത്തി-

ട്ടിണ്ടലിൽ നാളുകൾ താണ്ടിടുമ്പോൾ

കുണ്‌ഠിതമൊക്കെയകറ്റിത്താങ്ങാൻ

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചീടുന്നേൻ

 

Kandavayellam nerennu  oarthu

Indalil naalukal  thaandidumbol

Kunditham okke   agathi thaangaan

Mookambikaye namichudunnen

 

Thinking that all  we see  is truth

With  movements  days  jump on

To remove   all   disappointments

I salute  Mookambika

 

5.നന്ദിച്ചവരും നിന്ദിച്ചവരും

വാഴ്ത്തുന്നവരും വീഴ്ത്തുന്നവരും

എല്ലാരേയും തുല്യം കാണാൻ

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചിടുന്നേൻ

 

Nandhichavarum ,nindhichavarum

Vaazhthunnavarum  Veezhthunnavarum

Elloreyum  thulyam kaanaan

Mookambikaye  namichidunnen

 

Those  who appreciate, those  who berate us

Those who greet us  and those  who make us fall

To see   all of   them   as equal

6.കാണേണ്ടവയെക്കാണ്മതിനായും

കേൾക്കേണ്ടവയെക്കേൾപ്പതിനായും

ഓതേണ്ടവയിൽ നാവുണരാനും

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചിടുന്നേൻ

 

Kaanendavaye  kaanmathinaayum

Kelkkandavaye   kelppathinaayum

Oathendavayil naavu  unaraanum

Mookambikaye namichudunnen

 

To see  , those which should be seen,

To hear, those  which should be heard

For the toumge to wake to chant those  which need be chanted

7.മനസാ നന്മകൾ ചിന്തിക്കാനും

വചസാ നന്മകളുരിയാടാനും

വപുഷാ നന്മകൾ ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും

മൂകാംബികയെ നമിച്ചീടുന്നേന്‍🙏

 

Manasaa nanmakal chinthikkanum

Vachasaa  nanmakal uriyaadanum

Vapushaa  nanmakal  cheyunnathinnum

Mookamikaye  namichidunnen

 

To think good things  by the mind

To tell  by words good  things

To do   good things by the body
