ഞാന്‍ ചുരുക്കി നല്ല കീര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ ചൊല്ലുവാന്‍

ഗണേശനും മനസ്സില്‍‌വന്നുദിപ്പതിന്നനുഗ്രഹിക്കവാണിയും

നമഃശിവായപാര്‍‌വ്വതീശപാപനാശനാ ഹരേ

 

Namashivaya aadhiyaya  aksharangal kondu

Jnan churukki  nalla keerthanangal  cholluvaan

Ganesanum Manassil  vannu udhippathinnu anugrahikka  vaaniyum

Nama Shivaya Parvatheeesa , Papa nasana hare

 

With letters    from  Namashivaya and other letters

For me  to  shortly chant   good songs

Ganesa and Saraswathi help me for  the prayer  to come up in mind

മനുഷ്യനായി മന്നില്‍‌വന്നു ഞാന്‍‌ പിറന്നകാരണം,

മന: പ്രസാദമില്ലെനിക്കു വ്യാധികൊണ്ടൊരിക്കലും,

 

Manushyanaai  mannnil vannu jnan piranna  karanam

Manna prasadam illenikku  vyadhi  kondorikkalum

 

Due my being born  in this earth

Due to sickness  I never have  happiness in the mind

 

മുഴുത്തുവന്ന വ്യാധി വേരറുത്തുശാന്തിനല്‍‌കണം

നമഃശിവായ പാര്‍‌വ്വതീശ പാപനാശനാ ഹരേ

 

Muzhuthu vanna  vyadhi  verathu  santhi nalkanam

Namashivaya , parvatheeesa , papa nasana  hare

 

Please uproot   the sickness  which is getting maturedand give me peace

ശിവായയെന്നൊരക്ഷരങ്ങൾഓതുവാനനുഗ്രഹിക്കണം,

ശിവാകൃപാകടാക്ഷമറ്റെനിക്കുമില്ലൊരാശ്രയം,

 

Shivaaya yennoru aksharangal othuvaan anugrahikkanam

Shiva  kripaa  kadaksham  mathu   yenikku milla   oru asrayam

 

Please bless me  the  chant  the letters Shi Vaya

Except the merciful look  of Lord Shiva, I do not have any support

Shivaya  shambhuvin padaravindhamodu cherkkanam

Nama shivaya, Parvatheesa, papa  nasana  Hare

 

You  please merge me  lotus  like feet oF Shiva  and Shambhu

വലിയമാമലമകളെ വാമഭാഗെ വെച്ചതും

വഴിയൊടുപകുത്തുപാതിദേഹവും കൊടുത്തതും,

 

Valiya maamalakale  vama bhage  vechathum

Vazhiyodu pakuthu  pathi deham  koduthathum

 

The fact that  he kept very  huge  mountain on his left side

And over time  divided it and gave half  the body

 

വഴിയോടങ്ങു ഗംഗചന്ദ്രമൌലിയില്‍‌ ധരിച്ചതും,

നമഃശിവായ പാര്‍‌വ്വതീശ പാപനാശനാ ഹരേ

 

Vazhiyodangu ganga  Chandra mouliyil dharichathum

Namashivaya  Parvatheesa  Papa  nasana Hare

 

And over time you wors moon  and  ganga on his head

യമന്‍‌ വരുന്നനേര- മങ്ങെനിക്കുപേടിപോക്കണം,

എരിഞ്ഞകണ്ണിലഗ്നിപോലെ  യമനെയൊന്നുനോക്കണം,

 

Yaman  varunna  neram  angenikku  pedi  pokkanum

Yerinja kannil agni poale Yamane   onnu nokkanam

 

At the time  when Yama comes. You should  drive away my fear

With the eyes  emitting fire, You should  see once

 

ഇണങ്ങിവന്ന  ദേഹി ദേഹമോടുവേര്‍‌പെടുമ്പോഴും,

നമഃശിവായ പാര്‍‌വ്വതീശ പാപനാശനാ ഹരേ

 

Inangi vanna dehi dehamodu  ver pedum pozhum
