(Today  My mother  Goddess Annapurneswari  send a pretty prayer  addressed to her through  my friend  Sri RVB Subramanian .(thanks to you friend)  I searched and found that  this prayer was posted by   several my co-villagers. I just completed   arranging it properly   and translating it.My eyes were  wet. I felt as if My Kula Deivam   was asking me  “Why have  you not translated this?”.Amme  Saranam)

പുതുക്കോടു ഭഗവതി ജഗദംബികേ

ആദിപരാശക്തി കൈ  തൊഴുന്നേൻ

ആധിയും വ്യാധിയും തീര്‍ത്തീടണേ

ആയുരാരോഗ്യങ്ങള്‍ തന്നീടണേ

Puthukodu  Bhagawathi  Jagadambike  .

AAdhi parasakthi  kai thozhunnan,

AAdhiyum Vyadhiyum   Theerthidane,

AAyur Arogyangal  Thannedene

Oh Bhagawathi of Puducode who is  mother of the world,

Of first  divine  power  I salute you  with folded hands,

Please remove all   worries   as well   as Diseases,

Please give me longer life   span   and health.

അന്നപൂര്‍ണ്ണേശ്വരി ഭഗവതിയായ്

പുതുക്കോടു ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ അവതരിച്ചു

ആദിപരാശക്തി ചൈതന്യമായ്

അഖിലാണ്ഡമാകെ നിറഞ്ഞുദേവി.

Annapurneswari  Bhagawathiyai,

Puthukodu  Gramathilu  Avatharichu,

AAdhi parasakthi   chaithanyamai,

Akhilandam okke   niranja  devi

Goddess  Annapurneswari  became Bhagawathi,

And took birth   in Puthukode  Village,

AS the divine  power of the first divine SAkthi,

Oh Devi    you filled   up the entire  universe.

പുതുക്കോടില്‍ വാഴുന്ന സര്‍വ്വേശ്വരി

മുപ്പാരിലും വാഴും അന്നപൂര്‍ണ്ണി

മുപ്പത്തുമുക്കോടി ദേവര്‍കള്‍ക്കും

അദ്വൈതമൂര്‍ത്തിയാം അമ്മയല്ലോ!

Puthukodil  Vaazhunna  Sarveswari,

Mupparilum  Vaazhum  Annapuneswari,

Mupthu mukkodi   devarkqalukkum,

Adwaitha  moorthiyaam   Ammayallo.

Oh Godess  of all   who lives in Puthukode,

Oh Annapuneswari   who lives  in all the three  worlds,

Are you not mother  to the   thirty  three  crores,

Of Devas   and are you not the one and only one Goddess

പുതുക്കോടുദേവിയിന്‍ ഉത്സവങ്ങള്‍

നവരാത്രി നാളിൽ  നടക്കുമല്ലോ

പഞ്ചവാദ്യമും പാണ്ടിമേളം

 വെടിവഴിപാടും നിറമാലയും

Puthukodu deviyinde uthsavangalu,

Navarathri  Nalil Nadakkumallo,

Pancha Vadhyavum  Paandi melam ,

Vedi Vazhipadum  Niramalayum

The   festival  of  the  Goddess  of Puthucode,

Does it not take place during Navarathri,

Along with  Pancha Vadhyam, Pandi melam,

With offerings of huge crackers and full decoration   with garland

അഗ്രശാലയില്‍ സദ്യയുണ്ട്

ചുറ്റുവിളക്കും തൊഴുതുകണ്ട്

ശീവേലികണ്ട് നിറമാലകണ്ട്

ദീപാരാധന തൊഴാമല്ലോ.

Agra salayil   Sadhyayundu,

Chuthu vilakkum  thozhuthu kandu,

Seeveli kandu, niramala  Kandu,

DeeparadhanA thozhamallo

In the main hall there   would be feast,

Saluting   the  round chaion of lamps,

Seeing the  procession of Goddess , Seeing her covered with garlands,

Can we not  see  the worship with lamps

തായബകയും കേളികൊട്ടും

അത്താഴശീവേലി കണ്ടുകൊണ്ട്

നെയ്യപ്പപ്രസാദവും വാങ്ങികൊണ്ട്

ദേവിയിൻ അനുഗ്രഹം വാങ്ങാമല്ലോ!

THayambakayum  Keli kottum,

Athazha  Seeveli   kandu kondu,

Neyyappa   pradavum  vaangi kondu,

DEviyin Anugrajam  Vaangaamallo

Along with  THayambaka    and Keli kottu ,

Seeing   the seeveli  in the   evening.

Taking  the prasada  of Neyyappam,

Can we not get the  blessing of the Goddess

ആശ്രയിച്ചോരേഅമ്മ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും

ശത്രുക്കളേ അമ്മ നിഗ്രഹിക്കും

അഖിലാണ്ഡ ബ്രപ്മത്തിന്‍ നാഥയല്ലോ

ആശീര്‍വ്വദിക്കണേ അടിയങ്ങളേ

Asrayichore  Amma  Anugrahikkum,

SAthrukkale  Amma nigrahikkum,

AkhilandaBrahathinnu  Nadhayallo ,

Aaseervadhikkane   Adiyangale.

Mother  will bless  those who depend on  her,

Mother  would kill  all our  enemies,

Is she not   the owner of the  entire  universe,

Please bless  us who are  your slaves
