(i saw  this great prayer inthe post of my friend Sri Kumar  Ramanathan  and liked it very much. In each verse  the devotee tells God that when he  is very deep trouble or when his end is near  m whether  his mind would call God  and so  he is calling Him now itself)

நாராயணா ஸ்ரீமத் நாராயணா
பத்ரி நாராயணா ஹரி நாராயணா
நாராயணா ஸத்ய நாராயணா
சூர்ய நாராயணா லக்ஷ்மி நாராயணா

நொந்துடலும் கிழமாகித் தளர்ந்தபின்
நோயில் நடுங்கிடும் போது – ஜீவ
நாடிகள் நைந்திடும் போது – மனம்
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – இன்று
கசிந்துன்னைக் கூவுகின்றேன் அருள்
செய்திடுவாய் ஹரி நாராயணா

Narayana, Sriman narayana,

Badri Narayana  , Hari Narayana ,

Narayana , Sathya  Narayana ,

Surya narayana  , Lakshmi Narayana  ,

Nondhu udalum  kizhamaagi  thalarntha pin ,

Noyil  nadaungidum pothu –Manam ,

Yennidumo theriyaathu –indru,

Kasinthu unnai  koovukindren , Arul  ,

Cheithiduvai  Hari Narayana

Oh Narayana, oh Divine lord  narayana,

Oh Badri Narayana , Oh Hari Narayana,

Oh  Narayana , Oh Sathya  Narayana ,

Oh Surya narayana  , oh Lakshmi Narayana  ,

Affected  by great pain , when the body  becomes  tired and weak,

When I am shivering in sickness,

I do not know   whether  my mind would  think about you,

But today drenched in devotion  I am calling you in a loud voice.

Please shower   your grace  , Oh  Hari Narayana.

நீடு கபம் கோழை ஈழை நெருக்கி – என்
நெஞ்சை அடைத்திடும் போது
நாவும் குழறியபோது – மனம்உன்னை
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – நான்
அன்றுனைக் கூவிட இன்றழைத்தேன் எனை
ஆண்டருள்வாய் ஹரி நாராயணா

Needu Kapham kozhai eezhai  nerukki , yen .

Nenjai adaithidum pothu,

Navu kuzhaya  pothu, manam ,

Unnai yennidumo theriyaathu –naan,

Andru unai koovida   , indru, Azhaithen -yenai

AAndarulvaai Hari Narana

When increasing Phelgum and thick sputum  presses me,

And  blocks  my   heart ,

When my toungue becomes unsteady ,

I am not sure whether  my mind would call you,

I am calling you now so that I would  loudly call you then,

OH Hari Narayana  please  rule  over me.

ஐம்பொறியும் கரணங்களும் வாயுவும்
ஆடி அடங்கிடும் போது – எந்தன்
ஆவி பிரிந்திடும்போது – மனம்
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – இன்று
நம்பி உனைத் தொழுதே அழைத்தேன்
ஜகன் நாயகனே ஹரி நாராயணா.

Iym poriyum   karanangalum   vayuvum,

AAdi adaangidum pothu  -yenthan,

AAvi pirinthidum pothu –manam,

Yennidumo  theriyaathu  -indru ,

Nambi  unai   thozhuthe   azhaithen,

Jagan nayagane   Hari  Narayana

When the five senses  and its activities  as well as the wind ,

Plays   and then get stifled, when my soul  is going away,

I am not sure whether  my mind would think about you,

And so having  faith in you, I am saluting  and calling you today ,

Oh Lord of the Universe , Oh Hari Narayana

உற்றவர் பெற்றவர் மற்றவர் சுற்றமும்
ஒவென்று நின்றழும்போது – உயிர்
ஓசைகள் ஓய்ந்திடும்போது – மனம்
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – இன்று
பற்றி உனைப் பணிந்தே அழைத்தேன் – ஆபத்
பாந்தவனே ஹரி நாராயணா

Uthravar  , pethravar mathravar  chuthamum,

Ovebdru nindru azhumpoathu uyir,

Osaigal oynthidumpoathu –manam,

Ennidumo theritaathu-indru,

Pathri unai paninthe azhaithen –Aapad,

Bandhavane  Hari Narayana

When the relations, parents  and other friends,

Are standing  and crying loudly , when the sounds,

Of  life  are  slowly   vanishing, I do not know,

Whether   my mind would  think about you,

And so  holding  youtodaym I am  calling  you,

Oh Lord who protects us from danger, Oh Hari Narayana

என்பொருள் என்மனை என்றதெல்லாம் இனி
இல்லை என்றாகிடும் போது – மனம்
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – நீ
அன்று வரும் பொருட்டின்றழைத்தேன் அருள்
அச்சுதனே ஹரி நாராயணா

Yen porul   , yen manai   , yendrathellam   ini,

Illai yendrakidum  pothu –manam,

Yennidumo theriyaathu-nee,

Andru  varum  poruttu indru azhaithen , Arul ,

Achuthane  , Hari Narayane

When the time   comes   when ,

My wealth , my  home   and other things  ,

Are not there for me , I do not know  whether

My mind would think about you and I am calling you

Today, so  that you would come,

Oh gracious Achyutha, Oh Hari Narayana

வந்தமெதூர் வளைத்து பிரித்தெனை
வாவென்றிழுத்திடும் போது – மனம்
எண்ணிடுமோ தெரியாது – அந்த
அந்தியம் நீ வர இன்றழைத்தேன்
ஸச்சிதானந்தனே ஹரி நாராயணா

Vandhamedhoor   valaithu pirithu yennai ,

Vaa vendru   izhuthidum pothu –manam  ,

Yennidumo theriyathu  -antha,

Anthiyam nee   vara vendru azhaithen,

SAchidanandane  Hari Narayana

When the relationship   seperates me  and,

Encircles and drags me , I do not know   whether ,

My mind   would think about you and so today

I am calling  you  so that  you should come ,

Oh Sachidananda  , oh Hari Narayana
