Asya Sri Sanaischara mahamanthrasya Uru mithra rishi, Gayatri chanda, Sanaischaro devatha, Sa- naischara prasada sidhyarthe jape viniyoga
To the great mantra of Lord Sani , the sage is Uru mithra , the meter is Gayatri , the Go addressed is God Sani, For getting the blessings of Lord Sani the manthra is chanted
SAnaischaraya Angushtabhyam Nama-Salutations to Sani with thumb
Mandha gathe THarjaneebhyaam naa- Salutations to slow mover with pointer finger
Adhokshajaya Madhyamabhyam naa—Salutations to one looking below with middle finger
Sauraye Anamikabhyam nama- -Salutations to son of Sun God with ring finger
Abhyangaraya kanishtikabhyam nama-Salutations to one who rubs himself with oil ,with little finger
Oordhwa romne , kara thala kara prushtabhyam nama-Salutation to one with long hair, with palm
Sanaischara hrudayaya nama-Salutation to Sanaischara touch your heart
Mandha gathe sirase swaha- Salutation to slow moving one, touch your head
Adhokshajayai shikhayai voushat- Salutation to one looking below touch your hair
SaurayeKavachaya hum-Salutation to son of Sun God, think of armour
Abhyangaraya nethra thrayaya voushat – Salutations to one applying oil , think of three eyes
Oordhwa romne Ashthraya phat-Salutation to one with long hair, think of arrow
Bhorbavaswarom ithi Dig Bandha
Bhorbavaswarom tie all directions

Chaaya Marthanda Sambhootam Tam Namaami Shanaiswaram
My salutations to God Saturn,
Who is the colour of blue- black,
Who is the son of Sun God,
Who is the elder brother of Yama,
And who is the offspring of Sun God and his wife Chaya .
Conclude with pooja and vedic manthra
