My Prayer to Gods   to help all  the women who made our life  worthwhile,

(Happy women’s day .Prayer  composed  by me yesterday)

1.Woman as  mothers  have made  us what  we are,

By  giving birth to us   stifling  and bearing  unbearable pain,

And did the billion  dollar  job  of helping us  to grow  ,

Oh Visweswara, Narayana  and Brahma who did not  have mothers,,

Please  for God’s sake , help them by looking after  them well.

2.Women as sisters have   always  brought   affection to us,

By  helping us   whenever  we face  problems  in life  ,

By being a part of from   our infancy      to death,

Oh Lord Narayana   who has  a sister  in Goddess  Parvathi,

Please  for God’s sake , help them by looking after  them well.

3.Women as  wives have   added   the  spice  in to our life,

And made  our  life  joyful, purposeful and meaningful,

They  sacrificed their all  for us  and looked after  three generations,

Oh  Lord Ganapathy   , Oh Hanuman, who   did  not have wives,

Please  for God’s sake , help them by looking after  them well.

4.Women  as daughters made  life happy  ,thrilling and worthy,

And  were  with us  through  thick and thin and were  not able,

To   tolerate   a frown   in our   face and kept our life as worthy,

Oh Lord  Narayana , Oh Visweswara , who did not have  daughters,

Please  for God’s sake , help them by looking after  them well.

5.Women as  daughter in laws  came at  a time  when we  were  becoming old,

And not only made  our   sons  happy , but also, looked us after well,

And were our source  of joys  through  grand sons   and grand daughters,

Oh Lord Shiva, who had two daughter  in laws   to fuss  over him,

Please  for God’s sake , help them by looking after  them well.

Rajadhi Raja  , Raja  Marthanda, Raja  Gambheera. SAkala  Rakshasa   kula  vana dhahana, Prachanda  Sri Rama  Marthanda, Anjaneya  Bahu  Paraku

King of kings, sun like king, regal  king, the killer of  all forest   of Rakshasas, The sun like  king who is like  hurricane, Oh Anjaneya, My salutations

ஓ! வாயு நந்தன!
நீவு வாரிதி தாடின விசித்ரம்பு
ஆ வருணனிகேதெலுஸுனு:

Oh Vayu Nandana,

Neevu  varidhi  datina vichithrambu

Aa varunanike  thelusunu

Oh Son of wind,

The greatness  of your crossing the ocean,

Is  only known to that  Varuna

Pravesinchinathi Lankanu kasina,

Aa langinike  thelusunu

Your taking the suitable form of a cat,

And entering   very great  city of Lanka,

Is known  More to Lankini ,

Than Lanka itself

நீவு வனம் புனகேகி வஞ்சக ராக்ஷஸ
தளமுன வதியிஞ்சினதி,
ஆ அசோகவனதேவதுலகே தெலுஸுனு;

Neevu vanam  punakeki Vanchaka Rakshasa,

Dalamuna vathiyinchinathi,

AA asoka vana  devathulake thelusunu

You entering  the forest  of cheating  rakshasas,

And killing   their entire  army,

Is known only  to Gods of  Asoka Vana.

நீவு விச்’வரூபம் பெத்தி கனிபிஞ்சனதி
ஜகதீச்’வரியகு ஆஜனகதனயகே தெலுஸுனு;

Neevu Viswa roopam  pethi   kanipinchanathi,

Jagaeesvariyaku aa janaka thanayake  thelusunu

You  taking Viswa roopa and showing it 

Is only known  to the goddess of the universe  Sita  only

நீ புச்சம்புன அதி சீ’தளம்பௌட

Neevu  puchampuna Aghnipetti velikinchida,

Amma  sokinchi aghni  prarththanayu jesi,

Nee puchampuna  athi  seethalam pouda

Nee athma prabhavampu neeku  thelisunu

You keeping the fire of tail   and setting  fire

With  mother  with sorrow    praying to fire,

For  getting your   tail  greatly cooled,

And only  you know   your own power

அத்யாச்’சர்யம் பொந்தின அதி தயாளுண்டைன
பரம பாகவதோத்தம விபீஷண தனயா
த்ரிஜடகே தெலுஸுனு;

Athyacharyam  ponthina  athi dayalundaina,

Parama  bhagavodathama Vibheeshana thanaya,

Trijudakke   thelusunu

Trijada  who is  the daughter   Of Vibheeshana,

Who was greatly  surprised  and was very merciful,

And a  great devotee  only knew it

நீ புட்டுக பூர்வ வ்ருத்தாந்தம்பு
ஹரிச்’ரேஷ்டுலகு பூர்வ குண்டைன
ஜாம்ப வந்துனிகே தெலுஸுனு;

Nee puttuga  nee  vruthanthathambu,

Hari sreshtulakku poorvakundaina  ,

Jambavanthunikke   thelisunu

Jambavantha  who was  earlier  ,

To all devotees  of Hari knew  about,

All the   story  of your birth

நீ பராக்ரம ஸாஹம்பு வாலி தனயுடங்கதுனிகே தெலுஸுனு;

Nee parakrama  saahambuVali  thanyuda  angathuikke  thelusu

Your  valour  and adventure  was known,

Only to   Angatha   the son   of Vali

இடுல மஹாப்ரதாப மஹிமபொந்தின
நவவ்யாகரண ஸ்வரூபுடைனநின்னு
நேனு ஏமனி வர்ணிந்துனு:

Idula maha prathapa  mahima  ponthina  ,

Nava  vyakarana swaroopudaina  ninnu

Nenu   yemani varnithunu

Now  how can I  describe  you,

Who was greatly valorous and famous,

And who had  the form  of new creation.

ஜனகானி நேனு ஜேயு கைங்கர்ய மூலன் ,

தப்போ ஒப்போ அக்ஷர தப்புலு
கலிகியுன்னனு; மெப்பனகானொப்புகொனி
ரக்ஷிம்சுமு;
அதி யெட்லனியே “கரோமி யத்யத்
ஸகலம் பரஸ்மை” யனே
சுகவாக்ய ப்ரமாண்யமுலன்

Janakaani  neyu  jeyu   kaiknkarya  moolan,

THappo oppo  . akshara thappulu,

Kaliki yunnanu meppanakan oppukoni, Rakshinchumu,

Athi   yetlaniye “Karomi   yath yath  sakalm parasmai”

Yane    sukha  vakhya   pramanya  mulan

Due to the service  I did   to  daughter of Janaka,

Whether wrong or satisfactory, I  have learnt  the mistakes,

As I have  agreed to that  , please  protect me.

Otherwise “everything is done   by Him”

Which is word  of great people which exists

The words that   I should have talked ,

He who cures   all types of trubles, who does good, he who has yellow  brown eyes,

Who was  involved in searching Sita, who is a great  monkey, who has luster of one crore of moons and suns,

Who was terrible  to theisland of lanka, he who can kill all  , who was  recognized by  Sugreva,

Who has  devendra and other devas  as his devotees and  who was emissary of Rama  , let me pray  him

2.Sarva kalyana Datharam, sarvapath Ghana  mrutham,

Apara  karunamurthim anjaneyam namamyaham

I salute  one who gives all auspecious things, who wipes away   all dangers like wind,

Who had a  form which was  greatly merciful  and who was   son of Anjana

3.Khyatha   sri Rama dhootha, bhavada anubhava pingalaksha shikhaavan,

Seetha sokapahaari, dasa  mukha  vijayi, lakshmana prana  datha,

The   famous emissary of Rams, one who is experienced in present happening, who has brown eyes, who has flowing hair  on his head,

Who removed sorrow of Sita, who won over  Ravana and one who gave  life to Lakshmana

4.Aanenaa beshajathrer , lavana  jala nidher Lankadhe   deekshitho ya,

Veera sriman Hanuman mama manasi  vasan karya sidhim thanodhu

He was  a great remedy  who crossed the saline ocean as if it was penance,

Hanuman the  heroic gentleman  , let him in live in my mind  and give me powers

5,Asadhya  sadhaka  swamin, asadhyam thava kim vadha,

Rama dhootha  kripa sindho math karyam  sadhaya  prabho

Oh Lord who did the impossible, please  tell me  what is impossible to you,

Oh emissary of Rama, ocean of mercy, Oh Lord complete my job

6. Anjana garbha sambhootham, kumaram, brahma charinam,

Dushta graha vinasaka hanumanthm upasmahe

The lad who born  to  Anjana who remained unmarried,

Who destroys  evil planets, I  worship that  Hanumantha

Please  protecting   me   from suffering of,

Worries, disease and  the sorrow  of poverty,

For enjoying   the nectar  of happiness,

Sathyamanu   Amma anugrahikkum

Whosoever  prays    to you  with cleanliness,

Any day, Mother   truly you will bless

9.Aapathu velayil ammaye sevichaal,

Aapathu anarthangal  odi pokum,

If we serve  mother  at the time of danger,

The problems created  by danger  will run away.

10.Sarveswariyayi sarvathra  shobhikkum,

SArvanga  sundari  Sri Parvathi

11Sarva aparaadhangalum kshamichu anpode,

Sarvadhaa  namme  prasaadhichidum

She who with love would  pardon  all our errors,

Always   would  make  us  pleased.

12.Kaalam kali kaalam aanennu  yirikkulum,

Kalochitham BHajichidunnorkku,

13.Karunya kadalaam aa amma madiyathe,

Varam prasaadhikkum sathya mathre

Though the present time  is Kali age,

Those  who sing and pray you  at the suitable time,

Mother who is the ocean of mercy  , without hesitation,

Would grant us boons   and this is  the truth

Goddess of all worlds, She who is goddess of all knowledge,

Hail hail The one who does kindness  making sound bham bham , Hail hail  Shiva Shiva, the resting place  of pleasant life

Ya yimam  Shiva jaya  vadamudharam padathi  sadhaa  Shiva dhamni,

Thasya  Sadashiva sasasana yoganmadhyathi sampannamni

This  wishing  of lord Shiva to  victory , if one reads  in temples of Shiva,

He would get the chance  of being blessed  by Lord Sadashiva

Ithi  Shiva  jaya  Vadha  stotram  sampoornam

Thus ends the prayer  wishing  lord Shiva Victory
