Without   giving  place  to bad fate

Oh  Durga , bless  and  protect me

Oh Goddess  who is  protection to  suffering

ഒമ്പതുരൂപം കാട്ടിത്തരണേ

ഒമ്പതുഭാവത്തോടെൻ ചിത്തേ –

യൻപോടങ്ങു വിളങ്ങീടണമേ

Onpathu  roopam  Katti  tharane

Onpathu   bhavathoden chithe-

Anbodangu  vilangeedename

 

For nine  days mother , you should

Show  your  nine  forms

With  nine emotions you should

Shine   in my  mind  with love

Brahma  vidhya thelikkene

 

Oh Goddess  who is  a maid

Kannan  srushticha  sakthi nee

Mooladhara  sthithe  Devi

Kooshmande  Pahi maam sadhaa

 

To see   the world  as it is now,

Was created  by  you  , the sakthi

Skanda maathavu nee Koopaam

Yennume Kaathu  kollename

 

To give  life  to  Lord Subrahamanya

You are  the Parvathi  who came  to earth

You  are the mother  of SKanda, I salute  you,

Swa adhishtana   sthithe

Kaathu   rakshikkane   yennum

Kanmashangal   agaththane

 

Oh  Kathyayani  , the great  illusion

She  who stays in her  own place

Shiva sakthi   swaroopini

Kalariyodu   chernnu  aadum

Kala Rathrikku  Vandhanam

 

She  who has  the  form  of Shiva Sakthi

Would reach  crossing   the  three  impediments

She will dance along with  killer  of Kala

My salutations   to that  dark  night
