1.Vakra thunda Maha kaya, Surya Koti sama Prabha
Nirvignam kuru mey deva, sarva kaaryshu sarvadhaa
Oh lord with bent bone, big body, shining like one crore Suns
Oh God , destroy all obstacles in all the works at all time
2.Namami devam Sakalarthadham tham suvarna varnan bhujagopaveetham
Gajananam bhaskaram ekadantham, lambhodharam vaari bhavasam cha
I salute the god who grants all type of wealth, who is golden in colour , who wears sacred thread using a snake
Who has an elephant face, who grants light, who has one tusk, big paunch and shines on a lotus seat
3.Ekadantham , maha kaayam lambodara gajananam
Vighna nasa karam devam, herambham pranamamyaham
I salute god with one tusk , huge body , elephant face , huge paunch
Who is God destroying obstacles, and who is also made of turmeric
4.Vighneswaraya varadhaya, sura priyaya Lambodharaaya sakalaaya jagadwithaayam
Naagaananaays sruthi yajna vibhooshithaaya, gowri suthaaya gana naadhaaya namo Namasthe
Salutations and salutations to God removing obstacles, who grants boons, who is liked by devas, who is everything,
Who has no second in world, who has elephant face, who is decorated by Vedas and fire sacrifice, who is son of Parvathi and lord of all ganas
5.Dwavimou grasathe bhoomi sarpom bilasayaanivam
Raajaanaam chavirodwaram Brahmanam chaapa vassinam
He who thinks small animals which live in holes are eaten by snakes,
Fels the kings who are scared of enemies and Brahmins who are scared of foreign lands are eaten away by time
6.Gajananam Bhootha ganaadhi sevitham kapitha jambu phala charu Bakshanam
Umasutham, soka vinasa karakam Namami vighneswara Paadha Pankajam
I salutr lotus like feet of God of obstacles, who has elephant face, who is served by Bhoothas and ganas,
Who with love eats pretty wood apple and Rose apple, who is son of uma and is cause for destruction of sorrow
7.Raksha, Raksha , Ganadhyaksha , Raksha trilokya rakshakam
Bhathaanaam abhayam thraathaa bhava bhavarnavaath
Protect , protect , god who presides over ganas, protect oh lord who protects three worlds
He who grants protection to devotees, please protect me from ocean of samsara
8.Keyurinam haara keyura jushtam, chathur bhujam, paasa varaa abhayaneem
Srunim vahantham ganapam trinehram , sachamara tri yugalena yuktham
I salute the god who wears bracelet, crown , garland, who by his d four hands holds rope, goad , shows boon and protection
Who is chief of gabas, has three eyes and is surrounded by two ladies fanning him
