The worshipful Raghavendra   was the   follower of Sathya and Dharma,
I  sing about that   wish giving tree and salute that  wish fulfilling cow,

Durwaadi Dhwantaravaye
Viashnavendi varendave |

He who powdered our troubles ,  who is the bee giving   honey of vaishnavism,
Of Guru Raghavendra   salutations   to you who is very kind

Raghavendra Kalanidhin |

The treasure   house  of Raghavendra     rose up from the ocean of Sudheendra,
And he is being served   for  truth , wisdom and comfort   and for removing the  three types of suffering

The dangers   would melt away  and the   pride of beauty would be as desired,
And by   meditating on sage  Raghavendra   great fame in the world would be got

Dadya Sri Raghavendraadvilasathi
Phalitho MadhwaSindhantha Shaakhi || (5)

The scattered seed of the   writings of vyasa of the earth,
Were  made   to germinate  in to the earth   by the BHawath pada
And the  jayatheertha explained its various branches
And  they were made to sprout in to flowers  by saint vyasa raja
And were  made to be seen fruiting by sri raghavendra,
In to a branch of philosophy  of madhwas

Mookopi  yath prasadena   mukunda sayanaayathe,
Raja Rajayathe   riktho   Raghavendram   thamaasraye  6.

Even a dumb one by his blessings  would reach the place of Mukunda
And  even the emperors   in troubles depended  on  Raghavendra
