அனுஷத்தில் உதித்த ஜோதி

அகிலத்தில் உலவும் ஜோதி

ஆலயத்தில் தங்கும் ஜோதி

இம்மைக்கு வழிகாட்டும் ஜோதி

 

Anushathil  udhitha  jothi

Akhilathil  ulavum jothi

Aalayathil thangum jothi

Immaikku  vazhi kaattum jothi

 

The light  born in star  anuradha

The light   which wanders  over  the world

The light  which remains in the temple

The light  which shows  way to heaven

 

இல்லறத்திற்கு ஒளி வீசும் ஜோதி

ஈனப்பிறவியை உயர்த்தும் ஜோதி

ஈடில்லா அருள் செய்யும் ஜோதி

உண்மை பொருளை உணர்த்தும் ஜோதி

 

Illarathirkku  oli veesum jothi
EEna piraviyai  uyarthum jothi

EEdillaa  arul cheyyum jothi

Unamai  porulai   unarthumjothi

 

The  light which shows  light  to the family life

The light which makes unwise  person   rise up

The light which showers  matchless  grace

The light which makes us realize   the truth

 

உலகை காக்கும் உத்தம ஜோதி

ஊழ்வினை பயனை மாற்றும் ஜோதி

ஊன் உறக்கம் தனை மறந்த ஜோதி

எளிமை கோலம் ஏற்ற ஜோதி

 

Ulagai kaakkum  uthama  jothi

OOzh  vinai payanai  maathrum  jothi

Oon urakkam thanai  marantha jothi

Yelimai  kolam yethra jothi

 

The   great light  which protects the world

The light which changes  implication of fate

The light which forgets the  food and disability

The jothi  which took form of simplicity

 

எங்கள் கவலை தீர்க்கும் ஜோதி

ஏற்ற தாழ்வை களையும் ஜோதி

ஏழ்மை அகற்றும் ஞான ஜோதி

ஐம்புலன்களையும் அடக்கிய ஜோதி

 

Yengal  kavalai  theerkkum  jothi

Yethra  thaazvai  kalayum   jothi

Yezhmai agathrum jnana  jothi

Iym pulankalayum  adakkiya  jothi

 

The hothi which puts an end to our worries

The  light which removes, ups and downs among people

The wise light  which removes  poverty

The light which controls the five senses

 

ஐயமில்லை அது தெய்வ ஜோதி

ஒப்புயர்வற்ற உண்மை ஜோதி

ஒளிநிறைந்த காஞ்சி ஜோதி

ஓம்காரமாய் ஒலிக்கும் ஜோதி

ஓய்வில்லா அருள் செய்யும் ஜோதி

ஔடதமாக ஆகும் ஜோதி

Ayyamillai  athu deiva  jothi

Oppu uyarvathra unmai  jothi

Oli   niraintha  Kanchi  Jothi 

Omkaramai  olikkum jothi

Oivilla   arul cheyyum jothi

Oudathamaaka  aagum jothi

 

There is no doubt, it is a divine light

It is incomparable true light

It is light of kanchipuram  full of brightness

The light which sounds  with sound of om

The light which showers grace  without rest

The light which becomes  medicine.
