भोर भयो गैयन के पाछे, ।।२।।
मधुवन मोहिं पठायो ।
चार पहर बंसीबट भटक्यो,
साँझ परे घर आयो
मैया मोरी मैं नहिं माखन खायो ।।२।।

Bhor bhayo Gayyan ke paache
Madhuvan mohi patayo
Chaar pahar bansibhat bhatakayo
Sanja par ghar aao

Early morning I go behind the cows
I spent time only there
All the day I wandered near Bansivat Banyan tree
At the dusk I return home

मैं बालक बहिंयन को छोटो, ।।२।।
छींको किहि बिधि पायो ।
ग्वाल बाल सब बैर परे हैं,
बरबस मुख लपटायो ॥

Mein Balak bahiyanko choto
Cheeko kihi vidhi paayo
Gwal baal sab bair pare hain
Barbas mukh Laptayo

I am a babyand my hands are short,
How can I reach up there
All cowherd boys have great enmity with me,
They forcefully applied butter on my face

तू जननी मन की अति भोरी, ।।२।।
इनके कहे पतिआयो ।
जिय तेरे कछु भेद उपजि है,
जानि परायो जायो ॥

THoo jananiman ki aathi bhori
Yinke kahe pathiaao
Jiy there kachoo bedh upjee hai
Jaani paraayo aayo

Oh mother you are very innocent
And believed their stories
You have little partiality about me
And know I have come from outside

यह लै अपनी लकुटि कमरिया,।।२।।
बहुतहिं नाच नचायो ।
सूरदास तब बिहँसि जसोदा,
लै उर कंठ लगायो ॥

Yah ley apnee lakooti kamariyaa
Bahuthahin naach Nachaayo
Soordas thab biheensi Jasodha
Lai kar kant Lagayo

Please take your blanket and Stick
Make me dance a lot
At that time Surdas saw Yasodha Melting
Took him and hugged him
