குழந்தையாக மீண்டும் கண்ணன் பிறக்கமாட்டானா
புல்லாங்குழல் ஊதி என்னை மயக்க மாட்டானா
மாடு கன்று காட்டில் ஓட்டி மேய்க்க மாட்டானா
தினம் பாடி ஆடிஓடி என்னை சேர்க்க மாட்டானா (குழந்தை)

Will he daily run and sing, will

கண்ணில் இந்த உலகத்தையே காட்ட மாட்டானா
என்னை அவன் தோழனாக ஏற்க மாட்டானா
