Though I was I was born  in Parlikkad (a small hamlet near  Trichur ) on 18-1-1940, I spent  my life in Kerala, Tamil Nadu , Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal , New Delhi and Karnataka,Of these  places I have lived 60 years  in Karnataka. From 1975 to 1999 end , I worked in IIHR  , Bangalore and retired on 30-1-2000.

I Started  my translation from several languages  in 2002 ,My aim was to preserve  it to future  generations who may not know their mother  tongue or Sanskrit  as well a create material   which can be translated  in any language  of the World

In 2020  when I was 80, I was  worried that , if I die all my translations would be lost and HINDUPEDIA (An encyclopaedia of Hinduism)  accepted to preserve  all my work done in pdf form in their web site   http://www.hindupedia.com/en/User:P.R.Ramachander

Another  five years are over and I wanted to preserve the work I have done in pdf form. They again agreed. Any of you can read it all now(before they store it in their web site) by  reading it from  my google drive.

(Many people  are asking me  why I did not publish them as books.I always felt that a published book would be printed a maximum  of 2000 copies

My Stotra Rathna blog has already been read  by 80 million people with about 3 lakh  people  reading every month. My face book posts   are being read by one million  people  every month. I would have translated some 30000 Printed pages)

3.Translation  of Malayalam  Stotras  and Krithis

By

P.R.Ramachander

Malayalam is spoken by  people of Kerala  .They all  believe  cleanliness  is next only to Godliness , whatever  the religion may  belong

The Hindus   in Kerala  are spread all over the state  .The major communities  are Brahmins, Ambalavasis, Nairs and Menons, Ezhavas, Panikkara, Ezhuthachans    etc

Most of them have been trained  to have a morning bath,  go to temple in wet cloths   and wear  sandal wood mark  .They  also have been trained  to daily chant  the names of God in the dusk(sandhya namam)  .Due to this they are  greatly attached  to their temples, You will rarely  find a dilapidated  temple in Kerala .During the local temple festivals , Vishu, and onam festivals  , rivers of  people  would flow to kerala

The most popular gods   are Lord Guruvayurappan,  Lord ayyappan and various goddesses  (bhagwathi)

The bakthi movement in Malayalam was possibly started  by Thunjathu Ezhuthachan and carried forward by  Poonthanam and Bilwa mangalathu Samiyar

Most  of the keralites  with great devotion chant  the malyalam prayers and get immersed  in them

Being born in Kerala and deicated  to guruvayurappan , I get  immersed in Malayalam Prayers .

Unlike prayers  there are very few Malayalam  Carnatic composers

I am presenting          English translations of  9 books, (Adhyathma Ramayanam is given separately)     299       stotras  and 35  krithis
