புவிதனையே காருமம்மா
தென்னை மரத் தோப்பிலம்மா
தேடியவர்க் கருளுமம்மா

Puvi thanaye  Kaarumamma

Thennai mara  thoppilamma

Thediyavarkkalumamma

 

Oh Mariyamma  of  O Punnai Nallut

Oh Mother   protect   this world

In the garden of coconut trees

Please bless   those  who search for you

வெள்ளைமனம் கொண்ட அம்மா
பிள்ளை வரம் தாரும் அம்மா
கள்ளமில்லாக் காளியம்மா
உள்ளமெல்லாம் நீயே அம்மா

 

Vellai manam konda  Amma

Pillai varam  thaarum amma

Kallamilla   Kaliyamma

Ullamellam neeye Amma

 

Oh Mother  who has  a pure white mind,

Oh Mother  , please give a  boon of  Children

Oh Mother  Kali  , who does not have deceit

Oh Mother  , in all my mind you are  there

கண்கண்ட தெய்வம் அம்மா
கண்நோயைத் தீர்த்திடம்மா
பெண் தெய்வம் நீயே அம்மா
பேரின்பம் அளித்திடம்மா

 

Kan kanda   deivam  Amma

Kan noyai  theerthidamma

Pen deivam neeye  Amma

Perinbam   alithidamma

 

Oh Mother  , you are  the  God whom I can see

Oh mother cure my eye  ailment

Oh Mother  you are the female  Goddess

Oh mother  please grant me  great  joy

வேப்பிலையை அணிந்த அம்மா
வெப்பு நோயை நீக்கிடம்மா
காப்புதனை அணிந்த அம்மா
கொப்புளங்கள் ஆற்றிடம்மா

 

Veppilayai   anintha  Amma

Veppu  noyai  neekkidamma

Kaappu thanai anintha  Amma

Koppulangal   aathidamma

 

Oh mother  who wears  neem leaves

Please remove  this disease of pox

Oh Mother  who wears   the anklets

Please cure   these  boils

பாலாபிஷேகம் அம்மா
பாசத்தினைக் கொடுத்திடம்மா
காலார நடக்க வைத்தே
காலனையே விரட்டிடம்மா

 

Paal abhishekam Amma

Pasathinai koduthidamma

Kaalara  nadakka  vaithe

Kalanaye virattidamma

 

Oh mother , we anoint you with milk

Please  give  me your   affection

By making walk to till  legs get tired

Drive   away the God   of death

ஆயிரம் பேர் கொண்ட அம்மா
நோயினின்று காத்திடம்மா
தாயினது பாசந்தன்னை
சேய் எனக்கு அருளிடம்மா

Noyinindru  kathidamma

Thayinathu  pasam thannai

Chei yenakku   arulidamma

 

Oh mother   who has  thousand names

Please protect  me from disease

The   affection  of the mother,

Please give  it to me your child

வேனில்கால வேளையம்மா (உந்தன்)
மேனிதன்னில் வேர்க்குதம்மா
இளநீரில் குளித்திடம்மா
இன்னருளை ஈந்திடம்ம்மா

 

Venil kala  velayamma(Undhan)

Meni thannil  verkuthamma

Ila neeril  kulithidamma

Innarulai   eenthidamma

 

It is   time  of   summer,

Your body  is sweating mother

Please  take bath  in tender coconut water

And please   grant me   sweet  blessings

தேனில் நன்கு குளித்திடம்மா
வானின் மீது உலவிடம்மா
வளமார வாழ்ந்திடம்மா
வாயார வாழ்த்திடம்மா

 

THenil nangu  kulithidamma

Vanin  meethu  ulavidamma

Valamaara  vazhnthidamma

Vaayaara vaazhthidamma

 

Please take bath   well in honey

Please   take a stroll in the sky

Please    live  with prosperity
