കർമ്മമെല്ലാം ഒടുങ്ങിയെൻ ദേഹമീ

മണ്ണിൽ വീഴുന്ന നേരത്തു മാധവാ

മൃത്യു ഭീതി അകറ്റുവാൻ നിന്നുടെ

കണ്മുനകളാലൊന്നെന്നെ നോക്കണേ

 

Karmam yellam  Odungi yen dehamee

Mannil veezhunna  nerathu  Madhavaa

Mruthyu  bheethi  agathuvaan ninnude

Kanmmunakalaal yenne  nokkane

 

When my body  after all  Karmas get over

Is   falling on earth, Oh Madhava

For  removing   the fear  of death, please,

Look at me by the corners of your eyes

 

മെല്ലെ മെല്ലെ അടയുന്ന കൺകളിൽ

നിന്റെ മോഹനരൂപം തെളിയണേ

ശൂന്യമാകുന്ന കാതുകൾ നിന്നുടെ

നാമമന്ത്രങ്ങൾ കേട്ടടഞ്ഞീടണേ

 

Melle  melle  adayunna  kankalil

Ninde  mohana  Roopam theliyane

Soonyamaakunna  kaathukal  ninnude

Nama  manthrangal  kettu  adanjidene

 

When  slowly  my eyes  are closing,

Your  pretty  form should be clear to me

In my  then empty  ears, I should

Hear your manthras  of names and  then close

 

വേദനകൾ അകറ്റുവാൻ എന്നുടെ

ചാരെ പുഞ്ചിരി തൂകി നീ നിൽക്കണേ

നേർത്തലിഞ്ഞു പോകുന്നൊരു

ശ്വാസത്തിൽ നിൻ

കളഭത്തിൻ ഗന്ധം നിറയ്ക്കണേ

 

Vedhanakal  agathuvaan  yennude

Chaare punchiri  thoogi nee nilkkane

Nerthu  alinju  pokunnoru

SWasathil nin kalabathin  gandham  nirakkane

 

For  removing  my pain  , you should

Stand  by side  with  a pretty  smile

In my decreasing and dissolving

Breath you should  fill the perfume of your kalabha

 

പൊൻ വളകൾ കിലുങ്ങുന്ന കൈയ്യിനാൽ

ഒന്നു തൊട്ടെന്റെ ആധിയകറ്റണേ

നശ്വരമായ മോഹങ്ങൾ മാറ്റിയെൻ

ചിന്തകൾക്ക് നീ ശാന്തി നൽകീടണേ

 

Pon  valakal  kilungunna  kayyinaal

Onnu  thottende Aadhi agathane

Naswaramaaya mohangal  matriyen

Chinthakalkku nee santhi  nalgeedene

 

By  your hands which  make  clinging sound  of your bangles

Please  touch me slightly  and remove  the unfulfilled   desires

After changing my  mortal desires

Please  grant  peace   to my  thoughts

 

നിൻ മുരളി തൻ നാദത്തിനാൽ എന്റെ

കർമ്മ ബന്ധത്തിൻ കെട്ടറുത്തീടണേ

കാൽത്തളകൾ കിലുക്കിയെൻ പാതയിൽ

കൂട്ടിനായെന്റെ കൂടെ നടക്കണേ

 

Nin murali  than naadhathinaal  yende

Karma  bandhathin  kettu  aruthidene

Kaal thalakal  kilukki  yen  paadhayil

Koottinaai  yende  koode  nadakkane

 

By  the musical  sound of your flute

Please  untie the  bundle  of Karmas

By shaking  Your  anklets, please,

Keep company  in my path   and  walk with me

 

തെറ്റുകൾ പൊറുത്തെന്നുടെ പ്രാണനെ

നിന്റെ പാദാരവിന്ദത്തിൽ ചേർക്കണേ

കൃഷ്‌ണ കൃഷ്‌ണ മുകുന്ദ ജനാർദ്ദനാ

എന്റെ ഓർമ്മകൾ നീ മാത്രമാകണേ

Ninde padharavindhathil  cherkkane

Krishna, Krishna  , Mukundha  Janardhana

Yende  oarmakal  nee mathramaakane

 

By pardoning  my mistakes,please add,

My soul  to your lotus  like  feet
